OSU gets sued
Anybody involved with recreation, law, venues, can realize how frustrating it can be to satisfy all the needs and requirements of the ADA. Very few venues offer what is described in this article, and its an impossibility honestly at any main venue. It will be very interesting to see how this pans out, because this will definitely affect us.

PSU PUBLIC SALE
Normally i would leave this to a fan shot, but i figured this was important enough to bump up.
Individual game football tickets will be sold through an exclusive on-line
sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 31. Fans can participate in the sale
directly through the Penn State Tickets website on GoPSUSports.com starting at
at 10 a.m. Phone orders will not be accepted for the single game sale and
future sale dates are not anticipated. Ticket availability will differ
dependent upon the game and a maximum purchase of 10 tickets will be
permitted. Tickets will be available for the Akron, Temple, Eastern Illinois
and Indiana games. Pre-paid parking passes for the General parking lots will
also be available.

Best College Game Day Sign
my roommate wins best college game day sign with this charmer:
Penn state could reach 800 wins
after this season. I was reading the USA today when they mentioned in the sports section that OSU is only 2 wins away from the 800 level, and Penn State is ten wins away.
I thought that was very interesting, I didn't think we would be up that high.
Only four other schools the article says have reached the 800 win mark: Nebraska, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Texas.
i found it on their website:
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/2008-07-09-collegefootballkickoff_N.htm
it's near the bottom.

Another year without student tickets
I'm 1-3 now... got tickets my sophomore year ( last year ).
This is completely disheartening, especially with rumors that student tickets are going to be binded to student id cards.
Now i'll have to compete with alumni to get tickets into the game (off ebay/etc)
Not to mention i had to get up at 4:30 am to try to buy the tickets ( out in denver for the summer)
/end of ranting
