Double-T Nation Longhorn Legal-ease

I dare say, an article series worthy of Seth's ability!

http://barkingcarnival.fantake.com/2011/09/03/billion-dollar-bevo-part-ii-the-bloody-lhn-carriage-negotiations/This is the best article on Texas's intentions that I have seen, and it doesn't make me any more comfortable / less comfortable than before.  It does make me think that before I die (I'm 46) that there will be some sort of anti-trust action against ESPN (OK, SHOULD BE, probably won't)!

Double-T Nation UT - the University of Hypocrites

UT is considered a liberal, progressive institution. I guess the athletic department didn't get the memo, as they created a conference of 3 have's and 7 have-not's. I have the animosity that most non-UT, A&M, and OU fans share. Those three schools get the lion's share of the money, and the rest should just be happy to have a BCS conference. Before you, UT, say "Sour Grapes" - remember - you are supposed to be progressive.  Now let's look at the Big 10.  When the Big 10 network was formed Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State certainly could have made a case for a bigger piece of the pie than, say, Northwestern, Purdue, or Iowa, based upon performance and/or market
size.  But,  no,- they went along with creating a Big 10 network that distributed earnings equally. They decided that increasing the value of the overall conference would increase their value.  How progressive. And, by the way, what is
the most popular/profitable sport in the US? The NFL. What do they have? REVENUE SHARING!  UT is a bunch of hypocrites.
