I am a second-year student at the University of Victoria on Vancouver Island, majoring in math (with a possible minor in statistics), and I am a die-hard Canucks fan.
My dad is also a die-hard fan, and he had the games on the television all the time when I was a kid. I started paying attention back in November 2005. This is when Dan Cloutier got hurt and went on IR for the rest of the season, and Alex Auld replaced him. This was also the year when Anson Carter played with the Sedins, they missed the playoffs by one point, the Edmonton Oilers made that Cup run, and Rod Brindamour of the Carolina Hurricanes brought the Stanley Cup to my hometown.
Last year, when I went off to university, I realized how much I missed having the Canucks on the television all the time, and started following on the internet. By November last year, I was officially hooked.
I am still learning about the game. I have most of the Canucks roster figured out in my head, but this year I am looking to know more about the other teams in the league as well.
I go by "canuckpuckbunny" on twitter, and have my own Canucks blog as well.
