This is a traditional Chinese translation of Suboptimal's epic, heart warming tale about a baseball team in anytown. A friend of mine from a text-based bulletin "ptt" of Taiwan contributed to the translation. I thank him for allowing me to share it here.

I was trying to search some video footages in the youtube the other day for some historical videos about Hideki Matsui. I came across a trivia about him as a high school player. During Japanese High School Baseball Series in 1992, Matsui got consecutive 5 intentional walks, which is a record of the series. Matsui's team (Seiryo High) lost by 2-3.

In the fourth season of a Japanese anime series called "Major" (English wikipedia entry), the main character arrives United States for baseball career. There is no surprised that some major-league team references would be put into the episodes. Ever since I learned that its baseball advisor is Shigetoshi Hasegawa, I started to look for Angels references...

Taiwanese Nicknames for LA Angels Character

On the most popular bulletin board service in Taiwan called PTT, we Angel fans have a little board chatting about all things Angels. It's not a surprise that many Angels characters have their own Taiwanese nicknames on the board. They are mostly in Mandarin, sometimes pronounced in native Taiwanese. Here are some of the nicknames and the explanations if necessary.
