I am sure that I am not the only superstitious one who frequants this site. What silly things do you do to help out your Boys? Change the way your sitting when things are not going well? Change what you are drinking?

I will start... The odds of the Cowboys posting a win are directly proportional to the number of immediate family members wearing Cowboys gear. I was out of town on business for the Eagles and Packers games, and when things were not going well at halftime, I call my wife to find out she had put my son to bed without him wearing one of his Cowboys t-shirts (he is 3), since he had not yet fallen asleep I made her get him up and put one on. Also, I was watching the Philly game in a sports bar down the street from my hotel, when things were not going well at halftime, I realized I was wearing my long sleeve cowboys shirt, one I had not worn since the the Giants playoff game... so I headed back to the hotel and put on my short sleeved one and finished watching the game from there.

Laugh if you want... but I am doing my part.....

Your turn........

Espn nfl blog has an entry called Target practice on NFC West corners where they show some numbers on, suprisingly enough, NFC West corners.

Not exactly sure why Rhonde is in there, but, good god look at those St. Louis defensive backs. 14 of 21 (67%) for 401 yards.... that is 19 yards an attempt. Jacques Reeves wasn't anywhere near that bad last year, and I have not run the numbers, but I suspect Roy is not that bad in coverage. October 19 looks fun!!!

Does this look familar? 13 carries for 45 yards 3.5 ypc

Blogging the Boys favorite Julian Jones put up his usual numbers for the Seahawks today, and this is with a long of 24 yard.... that means on 12 of those carries he averaged 1.75 yards. Whatever Parcells did to this guy, he sure did it well.

I will take El Gato's 9 carries for 62 yards at 6.9 yards per clip,or T. Choice's 5 carries for 26 yards, a 5.2 yards per carrie average.

To steal a phrase from Grizz.... a hat tip to the offensive line, well, for being offensive. The right side really seems to be dominant in the rushing game, the left... well they were ok. But we knew that. I would be interested in what exactly the reason is for that, but I will sleep well tonight regardless.

Good Job fellas.

Edit:

Came accross this on footballoutsiders

True to his 2007 numbers, the only thing Julius Jones appears to be good at is catching the ball out of the backfield. The one long run he got off in this game was a 24-yarder with six minutes left in the game, and that was because the Bills were running that weird “Moving Cow” defense where the front four is milling around instead of setting, and safety Donte Whitner was essentially a defensive tackle. Other than that, he doesn’t look like he could bust a wet paper towel.
