The Brian Banks story
Kind of a sad deal. And I wouldn't be adverse to the Bills giving him a tryout.

NFL future power rankings
Can someone with Espn insider copy paste what they say about the Bills?
Stephen Hill ready to play from Day 1 ?
PFT has some nice quotes from GT coach Johnson. At the very least it gives some more ammo to the pro Hill crowd at ten among us.
LSU's Claiborne scores a 4 on the wonderlic
Maurice Claiborne has reportedly scored a 4 on the wonderlic according to PFT. This could conceivably hurt his draft stock, and cause him to slide a little. Perhaps even to the Bills pick.
Why Stephen Hill WILL be the pick at number ten this year.
First of all woohoo Williams is a Bill. And now that's out of the way back to some draft coverage. I've been giving the draft some pretty deep thought today, and I've come to a conclusion. The Bills will draft Stephen Hill at number 10. But wait mob16151 thats a huge reach. Well follow me through the jump, and I'll lay out my thinking. (And a 5 round mock.)
Random trade idea thread
So I personally can't stand the idea of anymore Pau Gasol trades. So I figured, I'd start a random trade thread. Feel free to post your trade ideas here. As a matter of fact I'll go first.

The Rockets get:
The Celtics get:
Luis Scola
Terrance Williams
The Nets get
Anyways let me know what you think.
mob16151's droppin knowledge mock
And it's time for the 2nd of my 4 offseason mocks. I'm going to go a full 7 rounds here. I'm assuming the Bills resign Stevie Johnson, sign Manny Lawson, and also sign a mid level FA corner. So without further dudes, let's jump.
NFP's mock draft 3.0 is out
Some suprises, and some things I've been saying for awhile now.
Sad Reed didn't get into the Hof again?
This should cheer you up.
Notes from Players all star classic
I'm intrigued by DE Aston Whiteside,QB Alex Tanney, and OLB Zach Nash.

I'm mad,your mad,we're all mad
It;s that time of year, and a certain madness has descended on Buffalo Rumblings. It's draft madness, the time of year, where hope springs eternal, and a hundredth of a second looms larger....................than a tenth of a second. The time of year, long gorilla like arms are in vogue, and we're all interested in seeing athletes in underwear. So in that spirit, I challenge you all to get on this thread, and make your, ever so bold draft predictions. They can be Bills related, or just about a prospect in general. I'll go first.
The Whitner signing in retrospect
First things first. That was a heck of a football game last night, and it was a shame someone had to lose. But on the brightside, you guys have an incredibly bright future, and a young, talented team. You all get a number one receiver (Or one of the guys on your roster now, matures into one), and I could very easily see the Niners going on a Patriots like run, especially with your defense.
About me i'm mob16151, and I'm a Bills fan. I just wanted to stop by, now that your off season has begun, and ask you what you had thought of Donte Whitner, and his performance this season. This is asked in the spirit of genuine inquiry, as i wasn't able to watch as much (non-Bills) football, as I'd like this year due to the birth of my first child in October. And Donte was a player that the Bills fanbase was kind of divided over when he left.
So anyways thanks in advance for your replies, and who knows, maybe in a few years, our respective franchises can give Berman his dream Super Bowl.......Niners-Bills!!!!!!!
Former Bills OC, and Colorado State HC, Steve Fairchild joins San Diegos coaching staff
Steve Fairchild is joining Norv Turner in San Diego, as senior offensive assistant/special assignments, Which as far as I can tell, is headcoaching for Norv, when he's to busy doing other headcoaching things.
Dead serious by the way, that's what the article makes the job sound like. Good work if you can get it I guess.
A 2012 draft QB breakdown
The fieldgulls break down the 2012 QB class with Dan Kadar, from mocking the draft. Interesting read as they disagree with both DJ on his favorite prospect(Tannehill), and me on my favorite prospect(Foles).
Mike Mularkey named Jaguars Head Coach
Mike Mularkey has been reportedly hired as the next Head Coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I thought Mularkey got a kind of raw deal in Buffalo, so I'll be watching him closely in Jacksonville to see how he does.
Just a few potential offseason targets.
So we all know the Bills have some glaring needs going into this offseason. Pass rushing OLB, improving the run D, better depth at WR,CB,etc. Here's mob16151's real, quick plan to improve the Bills.
In Free Agency, I'd like to see the Bills target the following three players.
1. Robert Meachem WR New Orleans. He gives the Bills a legitimate number 2 WR,across from Johnson (Assuming he's resigned.). He's tall, fast, and still relatively young at 27 years old. His signing would let the Bills utilize,Jones,Easely, and Nelson, more effectively depending on matchups, and field situation. His signing would likely spell the end of Roscoe Parrish's time in Buffalo, and give the Bills a WR depth chart that looks like this.
1.Johnson
2.Meachem
3.Jones
3A. Nelson
4.Easely
5.Hagan.
The second player I'd like the Bills to sign in FA, is Dallas TE Martellus Bennett. He's stuck on the depth chart behind perennial pro bowler Jason Witten in Dallas. He's young athletic, and while not the best of blockers, he has the athletic ability to be a JerMicheal Finley type recieving target. His signing would give the Bills a TE depth chart that looked like this.
1.Chandler
2.Bennett
3.Smith
The third and final Free agent acquisition I'd like the Bills to make is Tracey Porter CB New Orleans. He's struggled some with injuries, since he's been a pro, but when healthy he's one of the top 15 corners in the NFL, in my opinion. Plus it would be nice to steal a corner off the Saints, after they stole Greer. His signing would give the Bills a CB rotation that looked like this.
1.Porter
2.Williams
3.Florence
4.Rodgers
In the first round of the draft I'd like to see the Bills take Nick Perry OLB USC. He's young athletic and explosive. He sadly, would immediately become the Bills best pass rusher as soon as his name was called on draft day. Look for him to explode at the combine, and have a Clay Matthews like rise up draft boards.
In the second, I'd like to see the Bills take Nick Foles QB from Arizona. He's strong armed, but comes from a west coast type offense. He had a very good season, until the end of the year, when it looked like he was trying to do to much to keep his team in games. Keep a close eye on him at the senior bowl.
In the third round Emmanuel Acho OLB Texas. He's not a great pass rusher, but he's big, physical, and is pretty good at holding his ground against offensive lineman. And the Bills need a LB like that.
Anyhow let me know what you think.
Should the Cardinals sign Kazmir
Just seems like the sort of low risk, high reward signing Mozeliak should look into. He's lost a lot of velocity, but still, dudes only like 28.
Cards fan with a trade idea
An easy to read article over what the players, and owners are fighting about
Methinks the players are boned.
More disrespect for the Bills
Grantland tears the Bills a new one. A nice counterbalance for any optimism Bills fans might be feeling. That'll learn us.

Fred Jackson and how valuable is he?
We have a brouhaha brewing in Buffalo folks.(Nice alliteration eh?) Incumbent Fred Jackson feels disrespected, and perhaps he should. He's been the Bills best and most consistent offensive player the last few seasons. And many fans love him. Personally I think he's a nice Running back to have, but he's hardly elite, and he's a guy who can be relatively easily replaced.
Looking at PFF RB projections for 2011(http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/04/26/2011-running-back-player-projections-ppr-rankings/) they have Jackson ranked 34th, behind such not notables as Tim Hightower,Danny Woodhead, and Mike Tolbert to name a few. Now some will argue that well jackson plays behind a bad line, well so do Steven Jackson,Arian Foster, and Frank Gore, and all three of those players are ranked in the top 10.
Some well argue that well Jackson plays with an anemic passing game, however so do Peyton Hillis, Matt Forte, and Darren McFadden, and all of those players are projected as top 15 Running Backs.
Jackson has never scored more than 7 total TD's in one season. He has never had a rushing yards per game average of more than 67 yards per game over a season.(Random example, both Darren McFadden, and Marshawn Lynch have had seasons with better.) He's never had a rush longer than 43 yards in his career.
In my opinion Jackson had 1 great year in 2009, where he was valuable in rushing, returning, and catching. The rest of his career so far can be best described as slightly above average at best.
Crowder to reportedly retire
I know some bills fans wanted to take a look at him, but according to him as of now he's done. Guess we'll see.
Exhibit A in the Red Sox have the douchiest fans in baseball
Read the link...................................bandwagon fans.
Gabriel Breaks down Pryor
Good read. Draw your own conclusions.
OT Galore
So the lockout is droning on, and on, and on, and on, and on, etc, etc. Theres not a lot of Bills news, and I can't rouse an interest in re watching last seasons train wreck of near misses, and butt kickings. SO I figured I'd do a bit of a mind dump here on these pages.
So Lets jump
I invited the Thrashers fans over here to visit.
It seems like the right thing to do.
Lets play a game
So we all remember the Vanek situation from a while back. Vanek was an RFA and the Edmonton Oilers offered Vanek a 7 year 50 million dollar offer sheet. There was much debate and angst amongst Sabres fans as to whether or not to match said offer sheet, or to take the draft picks. Well long story short we matched the offer, kept vanek and everything worked out fine.
Lets take the plunge.
Happy Easter Rumblers
I just wanted to wish a happy easter to the best community on the web. I hope everyone is having a safe and happy easter. As a sidenote what I'm happy about this easter is i'm going to be a daddy. My girlfriend is pregnant with my first child. So what is everyone else happy about this easter? And what is everyone elses Easter plans?
BTW the Bills first round pick will be Patrick Peterson. So now ya know. Happy Easter.
