Behind the Steel Curtain Steelers injury report, Harrison probable

Steelers released there injury report, ruling out LaMarr Woodley, but James Harrison is listed as probable.

http://www.steelers.com/team/injury-report.html

The return of Harrison couldn't come at a better time. Additionally, the Steelers also seem likely to regain Jason Worilds. If that is the case, Lawrence Timmons could slide back to his ILB position, with Worilds/Carter taking Woodley's spot at LOLB.

Emmanuel Sanders was also ruled out with a knee injury. James Farrior, Dan Sepulveda and Hines Ward are all questionable.

Steelers Depot is reporting that Baron Batch has likely torn his ACL during training camp. If so, that's the end of his season.

According to PFT, Albert Haynesworth has been traded to none other than the Pats. Cost the Pats a 5th round pick in 2013. Does this mean the Pats are moving to a 4-3, or is Belicheat going to try and convince big Al to play nose as well

Behind the Steel Curtain Lockout legal

8th circuit decision came down, and the lockout is still on.

Majority justices found the Norris-LaGuardia Act was brreached by the original decision of Justice Nelson. Surprising that the Court handed down its decision rather than waiting as Justice Doty seems to have chosen to do. Early win for the NFL but the anti-trust suit, with triple damages, is the more important battle.

Behind the Steel Curtain Eric Berry

Pat Kirwan from NFL.com released his first mock draft today. This is the third mock draft from NFL.com experts which has Eric Berry falling significantly. In this case, he's still available at pick 10, while previously Bucky Brooks had him dropping into the early teens. I know we've discussed this before, but if he was still available at 10, would anyone be opposed to trading up to get him?

Behind the Steel Curtain 2000's all decade team

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the all decade team today. Troy Polamalu was the only Steelers representative, although Joey Porter and Alan Faneca, two former Steeler standouts, were named, no doubt in large part because of their efforts in the Black and Gold.

For the most part, I doubt there'll be too much controversy. The only obvious Steelers left out were Hines Ward, who fell behind Moss, TO, Harrison and Torry Holt, and the Bus, although a lot of his production came in the late 90s and start of this decade.

Behind the Steel Curtain Question regarding James Farrior's sack-fumble

I was watching the game Monday morning in my office at work, so the sound was off, and I may have missed the commentators mentioning something about this. When James Farrior strip sacked Joe Flacco, just before the end of regulation, the Ravens recovered the football about 5 yards ahead of where the fumble occurred. It was my understanding that any fumble in the the fourth quarter, or at least the last two minutes, which was recovered by the offense, was to be placed at the spot where the ball was fumbled, unless the player who fumbled recovered it. Yet, Sunday night's game it clearly wasn't. Have I missed something?
