Windy City Gridiron What happens if we don't sign Atogwe?

With all the FA FS's making deals with other teams, that doesn't leave us with a whole lot of options after Atogwe.  I would love for us to sign Atogwe just as much as the next Bears fan, but what happens if for some reason the deal does not get done?  If we decide to move up in the draft, who would you like to see us trade, what compensation would you like to see us get, and what team do you think will give us the best compensation?  I am just interested in hearing what all of you think should be our back up plan.  Hopefully we hear some good news on our boy Atogwe, until then...should be a fun and interesting debate.

If for some reason we don't sign Atogwe, what do think we should do?
Sign another FA FS without as much promise at a cheaper price.

Trade a player or player's to move up in the draft for a better chance to aquire a FS as a possible starter.

Stick with where we are at in the draft and pick a FS instead of an OL with the third.

Pick an OL with the third and pick a FS later in the draft letting who we have presently fight for the starting FS spot.

Windy City Gridiron Ryan Clark, could he be our answer?

Ryan Clark is said to be a Mike Brown type of player, physical and hard hitting.  I don't know if this could be the answer to our FS problem, but I think it is fair to take a look.  Here is his pro stats up to now. Link

I think he would be well worth looking at for the Bears.  The guy hits like a ton of bricks and doesn't get all the recognition due to, well...lets just say he plays next to the best db in the league imo.  Clark had three interceptions in 15 games with 68 solo tackles, 21 assisted tackles..bringing his total tackles to 89 last season.  I like what I see, how about you?
