One liner on it looking like Sheets won't pitch this year. Now that the draft has (long) passed, Sheets would not cost draft picks for a team that signs him. Is he still worth thinking about for next year, or is it a terrible idea to add another question mark arm to the Mets' collection of question marks? I don't have anything really to say myself, but I'd love to hear what some of the people here think about Mr. Sheets.

Pelfrey

Pelfrey in the middle of a second good start in a row -- is this the start of a trend? Anyone watching to see how he's pitching? Anything different than during his struggles the past two years? So far today he's thrown seven shutout innings, 5 hits, 2 walks, 4 Ks on 99 pitches, including 64 strikes. Is he controlling his secondary pitches better finally? Any comment on this guy would be great - I know he's lost his rookie status, but he's as much an unknown as a prospect for the Mets this year it seems.

Humber starting tonight

Humber's getting the start tonight for the Mets -- I can't watch the game, but just following the play-by-play it looks like he's been ok through the first three frames -- 3 hits, no walks, although no k's. Anybody actually watching this that can comment on how he looks? Obviously I'm hoping for big things (even if Omar won't let him sniff the postseason).

I'm clearly going to be a bit biased on this kid, but what is everybody else seeing out of him tonight?
