I'm sure this has been more or less covered in other posts, so sorry for being redundant, but I'm hoping to get some advice on possibly switching to a different cable or satellite provider.  We currently have Dish Network at the cheapest rate but it doesn't have CSN.  With the season fast approaching we'll either need to upgrade or switch to something else.  Or go radio only, which I've considered, but I think I'll miss watching on TV. 

Direct TV seems to be the cheapest and it looks like their most basic package has CSN and MLB.  Anyone have any experience with them, or advice in general?  Thanks in advance.

I just started a job directly across the street from Mays Field.  Pretty sweet, as I can walk to the knothole in about 2 minutes.  The other day I took a late lunch (around 2PM) and saw a handful of Rockies  taking BP.  I don't think this was their full BP session though since as far as I know those happen later in the day and there were just a few players out there.  I'm thinking maybe some of them were just getting extra work.

Anyway, getting to my point... does anyone know when the Giants typically take batting practice for night games?  I might start making late lunch breaks a habit.
