I just wasted an hour of my life watching the 75 Greatest Catches in Baseball History and there was not ONE SINGLE Diamondback on that list?? Oh really?? What about Mark Reynolds, Gerardo Parra, or Justin Upton, Steve Finley.  ALL of these guys have made significant contributions to the game with fantastic catches. But NO. Ken Griffey Jr, Mookie Wilson, Torii Hunter, Jim Edmunds all get multiple mentions with less fabulous catches than some of the Diamondbacks.

Not a SINGLE one was mentioned, with the exception of Luis Gonzalez being robbed of a home run when he played for Detroit, and Randy Johnson with Seattle. What the hell MLB NETWORK?????????? The franchise team with the shortest amount of time getting to a World Series and winning it, had quite a few memorable catching moments in their 10 years. 

I'm gonna make Jim make a "Best Of" specific to the Diamondbacks in a lot of areas. So, a great big raspberry to you MLB NETWORK, that was not a fair and balanced list. I won't be watching the rest of your stupid lists. Thank you very much.  This rant is over.

I don't get in here often, but since Jim's worked so very hard to keep you all informed and laughing, I just wanted him to know he was appreciated.  Once I figure out how to post this thing, I'll get it posted... hmmmm  which button  to press??  Oh great, it has to be 75 words long.. ok, I think I know how to fix that:

PS: This post thing says I have to make this post 75 words long. So let's just say that I'm happy Eric Byrnes redeemed himself the other night at the STL game, but he's still on my watch list.  I could say more and Jim KNOWS I will, but not here. My only hope is that people realize the damage that making too much money does for any organization. It affects everybody.  Especially when the performance affects the team's stats. I'll leave it at that.

Just a reminder that Jim's Birthday Party/Comedy Show is this WEDNESDAY

We will have baseball games on the 15 plasma screens around the club, so no worries about BB Withdrawal there. :-)

So come out for the food, the chat, the COMEDY, the fun and cake too!
Even Heineken has graciously offered $2 bottles that day!! Can't get any better than that!
