Alrighty folks,

I finally had some down time this weekend and setup a website for the brand new OOTP 11 league that I'm starting. The league is called the American Federation Baseball League (AFBL). Go on over to the site, register and then pick a state to start your franchise. I do need at least 4-5 more members if you are on the fence about joining. If not I do understand. I'm very excited and nervous about the whole process. Hopefully we can start something great. I have a fantastic league NPBL to model it after which I'm in currently. Rules are posted below. Thanks!

Hey everyone!

Not sure if many VEBers play OOTP but I recently started to play again after taking some time off. I was wondering if there would be any interest in creating an online OOTP league. If you have never heard of OOTP check out their site. It is probably the most sophisticated baseball simulation game out there and it is very fun and addicting especially as an online league. I'm in very involved league right now with active owners that make it very realistic. I think it would be awesome to have a league with VEB posters. Assuming there's enough interest I'll go ahead and continue to create a league. I would say we would need a minimum of 16-20 owners to initially start. I also haven't developed any rules or anything but I would like to keep it similar to MLB. Thanks and hopefully we can get this going.

this is my first time posting but i visit the site every day, multiple times lol. so i was bored last night and decided to try to play gm as best as i could realistically. sorry, i know everyone tries to do this but i would love to know what everyone thinks of this. :)

trade rolen/reyes/$/flores? for capuano/hall
trade duncan/looper/spects/whoever for cain or lowry, and some more depth (not sure if duncan will  move though.
sign bradley for 2 yr/10mil ish (high risk, high reward, but he can sure hit)
sign affeldt for 1 yr/2.5mil ish (if flores goes)

maybe could trade duncan in a package for blalock and put hall at 2b or ss but i don't think that will happen.

oquendo would need to work with hall at 3b, tony and bradley would need to get past their differences (but with rolen gone thats one less headache for him lol) but i really think this is fairly realistic and could possibly happen. lets hope the cards get active this winter. what's everyone think? thanks for reading my first post and be nice! :) go cards!
