4 Sport Dynasty League starting up
Starting up a ten team four sport dynasty league starting with Baseball coming up.
Kearney Leads In Win Over Brundidge Southfield
The feature game of the Romulus Holiday Classic was played on Saturday evening between Detroit Southeastern and Southfield.
Southeastern won by a 73-59 count, in a game that turned dramatically after the first 8 minutes.
The Jungaleers of Southeastern have been a highly-regarded (if young) team for the past couple of seasons but have seen their seasons come to an end against Keith Appling and Detroit Pershing in the Regionals.
Reasons you should be excited for next year
Losing is not fun.
Losing will never be fun
Next year has a lot of good going into it that could make "next year" a real "next year"
When preseason conference favorites Michigan State and Ohio State meet today, a game to be aired nationally on CBS, it will be as huge for the Big Ten standings as the All-American candidates in the middle of the paint.

[Hey, a hockey recap. Bumped. Winning things is cool. -KJ]
MSU wins the Great Lakes Invitational
Defense put their stamp on this game showing that when they were aggressive good things happened. Whenever they were able to cause a turnover good things happened. The 3rd and 4th goals by MSU to help put this game away were both direct results of the MSU D causing TO's and being quick on counter attacks. In MSU's zone they were able to limit what RPI did and made sure that they didn't give up too many slot rebounds and 2nd chance attempts.
On the offensive side of things MSU got the puck deep and was able to keep attacking all night. It seemed when RPI would start to build some momentum a new player was able to step up for MSU. 6 different Spartans scored for MSU so it really was a team effort. All 4 lines for MSU were able to to put a puck in the net when they were on the ice.
Mumphery Commits To MSU
(Bumped. More on this later - Pete).
Dooley County (Ga.) High head coach Darryl Silas just confirmed to Scout.com that his star wide receiver Keith Mumphery committed to Michigan State over the weekend.
The 6'1, 197-lb Mumphery is a three-star prospect and took a trip up to East Lansing this weekend, where he saw a 26-20 Spartan win over Michigan in overtime.
As a junior, Mumphery caught 49 catches for 972 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior and also had 78 tackles and two interceptions on defense.
Marcus Rush Picks Spartans
Wisconsins scout site has just came out with an article and he has been updated to a commit in the scout database. Add another guy to the Green and White class of 2010. This will be commit number 11 for the class and another a good additon to the Def. Rush is a three star DE out of OH. Word is he ends up playing OLB at MSU.
He held offers from UM, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Virginia, and Kansas.
