born and raised in cincinnati. I will never give up on the Bengals and I truly believe we will make a run at the playoffs in one of the remaining years with carson.

I love the offseason and trying to decide what we should do with our roster.

Cincy Jungle Our Biggest Threat to Getting into the Playoffs...........Playoffs?

The Jets have the easiest remaining schedule of the 4 remaining teams fighting for the final #6 AFC playoff spot. They are behind the Bengals bc they only have 5 AFC wins while the Bengals have 6. Both teams have 2 remaining AFC games left. If the jets go 3 – 1 and win both remaining AFC games,KC at home and @ Miami, the Bengals will need to go 3 – 1 and beat both Houston and Baltimore. This will give the Bengals more wins in the AFC than the Jets. If the Bengals go 3 – 1 and tie the Jets with AFC wins, it will go to minimum 4 common games with the Jets. As of now in common games (Bills, Ravens, Jags) the Jets are done at 3 – 2 and the bengals are 2 – 2 with the Ravens remaining. Even if the Bengals lose to the Texans and win against the Ravens and the Jets win both games and both teams go 3 - 1, it then goes to strength of victory (record of all the teams they defeated that season). The Jets are 4 games ahead of the Bengals in this category. The Bengals have the Titans in the bag and the Raiders are only going to win 2 of their next 4, if that(they have Palmer)......... neither should not be much of a concern. If the Bengals win and the Jets lose this week, the Bengals are sitting pretty. This is highly unlikely but man it would be awesome ps - the Jets have to play at Michael Vick and the Eagles and the Giants at home, I am guessing they lose one of these 2.

Cincy Jungle Cincy Jungle is the Best

I found out about Cincy Jungle b/c of SI.com and I couldn't be any happier with this blog.

I use to get on to Cincinnati.com to post things up, but now I hate that website with a passion.  Its a bunch of idiots posting up ridiculous comments and several are Steelers and Browns Fans.  Its too much bashing for me.

I just wanted to say this is by far the best blog out there if you are a Bengals fan.  Not only are the comments from other bloggers great, but the guys that run this are very informative and don't speculate. They give cold hard facts and react in an unbiased way.

Cincy Jungle now what?

Raji smokes too much pot, the Bengals are considering a guy that holds way too many guns and Andre Smith has 3 red flags in less than 4 months.

The Bengals are in a tough position at the 6th spot.

I dont want any character issues.  I hope we make the right moves.

What should we do?  I would really like to trade back and get more picks so we can fill the holes for now and the future.

Cincy Jungle if we trade chad, what will we do?

i think we will get a 2nd rounder for him, if it happens - what do you think the bengals will do?

would you be mad if we used our first round pick on crabtree? or would you still want an offensive tackle and roll the dice w/ the guys we have?

It would make me feel like the Bengals would be in moving in the right direction (especially in the locker room).  We could use the extra pick to get a solid defender or another offensive lineman.
