Pretty Good Adrian Peterson Profile
Hey, I was looking through some sites and saw a pretty sick profile of Adrian Peterson about his struggles up until the NFL, and how he plays the game. It's pretty in depth, worth checking out if you have time. Here's the link: http://vizioprofiles.com/
Hmm, since I can't publish this yet I'll rant a little. Believe me I'm as happy as anyone else that we're 6-0, but it's a little disheartening to watch our defense get hammered in the fourth quarter like that. I'm pulling for Madieu and Tyrell to step it up, they've shown some progress but have work to do, Cedric is letting those ten yard hitches go, but isn't giving up the big play. I'm pretty damn scared just thinking about not having Antoine for an extended period of time, but at least our offense is scoring enough points for us to get away with this. Hoping for a mental turnaround for the D, that first half was the best I've seen them this year, just gotta play like that for a full game. I'm in Hawaii so I don't get many Viking games come my way often, but this week it's on, and my little brother is a Steeler fan. I'd hate to have my little brother ragging on me for the entire year so SKOL VIKES, hopefully you enjoy the link

Do we really need another starting QB?
I know all you guys are ready to kick T-Jack out the door but c'mon. He didn't get a fair shot this year, and when he came back he showed vast improvement. We lost to the Eagles, who just put the Giants and Cowboys through their worst offensive performance, so it's understandable to see Tarvaris struggle that game. Bottom line, the locker room has his back, he has incredible physical intangibles, plenty knowledge of the play book and some up side. Let's be real, the draft will not save us at this position and Matt Cassel hasn't shown the league that he can perform in another offensive system. If we can't take the division next year with T-Jack at the helm then yes, we should make this a priority, but for now, I believe that Tarvaris Jackson is the answer. I'm not saying that we don't need another veteran back there just in case like Sage Rosenfels, but as of now, we have a starting QB on our Roster.

Here's for some optimism
For about ten minutes after watching the Packers piss away the game, I was thinking that all these crazy things like the blocked field goal, the coin bumping off Urlacher to give them the ball, were signs that this year, was going to be just like every other year, where the vikes get close, but no cigar. But after cooling off, let's think about it. WE have the leagues best running back, who will not let his worst game as a pro bring this team down, I really believe that. We have a young athletic quarterback that has played lights out these past two games, and an improving defense. We just need the fans to jack up the place sunday, and AD will take this team over, that's just the kinda player we need him to be. And let's face it, if we can't win in these situations, then we don't deserve to be in the playoffs. So in light of all these things that have gone horribly wrong this week, we have to remember that we still control our destiny. Win and in, Lose and we're out. Screw the packers, screw the bears, this is our division, and I feel a win coming this week

Insult to injury
As if the apparent suspensions of the Williams wall was not good enough, Brian Robison, the mobile d-linemen of the Vikings had surgery on Tuesday, which will sideline him for several weeks. The news of the suspension ruined my day, but this truly sucks. I have always liked Brian Robison for his pass rush skills, and when they inserted him into the DT rotation he did some good things, so I figured if the worst happened and the Williamses were suspended, at least we'd had a young talent to help out the thin line of replacements left to fill in the gap. This news is truly salt on the wound, I don't know, maybe I'm making too much of this, what do you guys think?

Antoine = Beast
Wow, I don't care what you say about the way we won, that was incredible. Antoine, in my opinion, is single handedly saving our season. His identical blitz against the panthers, his tackling ability, i mean, this guy can really play. I have no regrets in buying his jersey last week. Tough news about E.J., but at least we still got Antoine. Say what you want about Gus, he got the job done when our ground game was stalled. I'm delirious about this win and am excited to see Antoine go to his first pro bowl. I can actually see him in person.

Viking Fan Gear
Hey guys,
I'm a hard core vikings fan in Hawaii, and i was looking for some good Viking horn helmets, I don't know if you guys know where to get them, I looked in amazon and ebay but no luck. Maybe even a viking horn?
But on some real football notes, I do believe that we can still pull through, I don't agree with the early benching of T Jack, I mean seriously, you hype him up all summer and don't let him pass more then five times in a half. I saw the first two games and it was pathetic, I don't see how a quarterback can get into a groove with that play calling. Anyways, why isn't anyone talking about E.J. Henderson? he dislocated a couple of toes and his status is unknown. Anyone know the latest?
Random notes:
Without Antoine this season would be in the dumps
We should run Chester more
Where's Madeiu?
We can beat the saints, just have to hope our Secondary is up to it
Go Vikes!!!!
Thanks.

Minnesota Vikings Team Captains
Hey,
I'm a new member of this blog. I'm like, one of the twelve vikings fans in Hawaii, and I was just wondering if anyone of you guys knew who the team captains were for the Vikings. Based on what I've looked up it looks like they revolve their captains but I'm just trying to figure it out. I think that Chester Taylor might be the offensive captain, Winfield Defense, and Farwell is special teams but I'm not sure. Anyone?
