The Saints are perfect. The Colts … their record is perfect as well.

Drew Brees’s traditional quarterback rating (158.3) on Monday night was….also…..perfect?

Don’t get me wrong, Brees played about as well as I’ve seen a QB play in a long time. I’m just having a little trouble with using the word perfect in this case.

1. New Orleans: The rest of the league has been placed on notice: This is a nonstop flight to Miami for Super Bowl XLIV.

2. Indianapolis: Yes, the Colts also are 11-0, but it doesn't seem quite as dominant as the one they've got going in the Big Easy.

3. Minnesota: The Vikings have the look of a complete team that is going to have plenty to say about who represents the NFC in the Super Bowl.

4. San Diego: With the woeful Browns up next, the Chargers are about to extend their winning streak to seven.

5. New England: They're probably good enough to win a bad AFC East, but they're simply not good enough to compete with the league's elite.

You want a real measurement of this Tampa Bay team? New Orleans was happy to provide one Sunday afternoon in a 38-7 drubbing that summed up both teams perfectly. The Saints look as if they're going a long way. The Bucs look as if they have a long way to go.

We contribute to the mojo of our beloved Saints. I have to assert that my scotch was magical for us today. How? Well, it all started in the second half. After each pour, each sip, the saints got back into it. Making plays, tackling, scoring, what have you. Anyway, I just wanted to post my magical scotch and would like to encourage the rest of CSC to post their drink of choice while watching our Saints kick ass! Here's to us being 8-0! Cheers!!

Is this a cause for concern on Monday night?

We've been doing the whole "gold pants" thing for awhile now and it seems to be working. I hope the black pants don't curse us.

With the SI cover, Reggie's comments, injuries and the black pants, Monday could be scary.
