So John Sickels, as many of you know, puts together a 5-round mock draft on his blog, minorleagueball.com. So the reason I bring this up to LSB is that last year the Rangers' draft was handled by an A's fan, which was kind of lame. Mostly, though, I figure that with the amount of attention our minor league system has gotten this season, and with the excitement I read in the minors diaries on LSB every night, this could be a cool ongoing discussion point as we move toward the actual draft next month.

I don't think I'm knowledgable enough about prospects to take this on myself, but if anyone is interested, the sign-up for scouting directors will be going on sometime later today on the Sickels blog.
