Music City Miracles Draft Surprise??

I want to just ask the consensus view on this. I've thought about this and thought about it. I think that the first overall pick should not be a QB, as I believe most of you do as well, but more rather a DT or LB such as Fairley, Dareus, or Von Miller, etc., or a WR in A.J. Green or preferably Julio Jones. Now moving on to the later rounds is where my idea becomes relevant.  With the second pick I think we should take a QB, which with the vast amount of opinions could be anyone at this spot. Then in the later rounds we would draft purely by need, but I think one more of those picks should be spent on another QB, that is if a player like Mallett or Taylor drops to maybe the 3rd. This would, in my opinion, force the issue of a QB competition in camp. I think it would help either player progress much faster than they would on a normal basis. Just wanted to throw that out there. Tell me what you think.

Tye Hill thinks he has a fair chance to become the Titans starter. I have nothing wrong with and he sounds like a sound player.

I wouldn't mind to see this. He has obviously done something special in Chicago, so why not help us get our offseason in line?

Speculation that the Titans have talked to the Redskins about a trade that would bring defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth back to Tennessee is false, Coach Jeff Fisher said Tuesday night.

Music City Miracles The latest math on CJ's record run...

Chris Johnson, as we all know, has to reach 2,105 to tie and 2,106 to break the record (Most Rushing Yards in One Season) that was set by Eric Dickerson in 1984 with the L.A. Rams. Chris would have to have an average of 142 yards per game over the next five games give or take different yardage in each game but has come out to be 709 (remaining) to tie or 710 to break it. The Titans play 4 teams who are rated over #15 in rushing yards allowed and the Dolphins who are at #12. He also only needs 8 more games with over 100 yards rushing to break Barry Sanders record of Most Consecutive Games with 100 or More Yards Rushing, which was set at 14 in 1997 with the the Lions. In addition he can also get 2,000 with 604 yards and an average of 120.8 YPG. He can also (Thanks to SoCalTitan) get the most yards from scrimmage in a season with 2,429 set by Marshall Faulk in St. Louis, 1999 (1,381 rush., 1,048 rec.). He is at 1,690 all purpose yards now. He needs 739 to break Marshall's record. Johnson tied an NFL record by topping 125 rushing yards for a sixth straight game Sunday. Ok after days...you guys finally convinced me to change the nickname. It is now the one you guys voted for here.... it is Chris "Flash" Johnson. THERE!

Music City Miracles Can CJ break the record???

If Chris Johnson rushes for his game average of 124.2 Rushing YPG and at least 115 other rushing yards for the next 6 games,he will tie the record for the most rushing yards in one season. It is currently set at 2,105 yards by Eric Dickerson with the L.A. Rams in 1984. With two opponents rated over #20 in rushing yards allowed (St. Louis #28 and San Diego #21) and one opponent at #16 (Seattle) Chris has an even better chance 2,105 and/or 2,106.
