since NBA.com has decided to be lazy. copy and paste this into windows media player

http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/nba/11562/500_nba-liveevent_060611.asx

here is the box score link as well
(tho they're being really lazy and slow)

http://www.nba.com/summerleague2007/games/boxscore.jsp?gameId=1520700023

unfortunately my creative way of circumventing the minimum character limit wasn't the best of ideas so the lyrics have been removed. btw, for those who dont hear any sound, dont turn your speakers up. theres no commentator, the mic on the floor is weak, and the PA announcer is rather loud and abnoxious. no use blowing your speakers out when he yells "TOO MANY STEPS"

a couple people asked to repost the link in a new diary since my other one is way down there now. just in case you are getting the "out of area" blackout message at NBA.com,

copy and paste the folowing link into your Windows Media player

http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/nba/11562/500_nba-liveevent_060611.asx

oh yea, its free, and works

[edit] - check the post below. you'll have to open windows media player and open that URL =)

basically, instead of clicking on Watch, right click it and copy the link location. you'll get something like

javascript:nbaVideo(escape('http://broadband.nba.com/cc/playa.php?content=video&url=http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/nba/9920/500_nba-league_pass_memphis_051201.asx&gid=s3&gid=1520700003'),escape('blank'));

just copy and past the part that starts with http://boss.streamos.com all the way until the .asx

that should work for any that you are blacked out for (i think)

enjoy!

--------------

I think I might've seen this as a comment in a different diary, but just in case anyone missed it or if it wasnt common knowledge, the Summer League games are all gonna be webcast. So no more speculation and shaky scouting reports, we get a chance to see Wright, Bellinelli, and Lasme for ourselves. First game is Sat at 1:00

also dont forget to catch the Yi Movement vs the Boom Tho Movement (Team China vs Memphis) tomorrow at 5 ;)

heres the link to the schedule, and what i'm assuming will be the webcast links

http://www.nba.com/summerleague2007/schedule/index.html

---

and for those that are curious about what we traded away in Jermareo Davidson and what the Bobcats got to team up with JRich in Felton/Morrison/Dudley, check out the Orlando Summer League... my fellow Bear, Ubaka's gonna be running with em too =)

http://www.nba.com/magic/news/07summerleague.html

the links to the webcasts are supposed to be somewhere there eventally... damned if i can navigate that mess of information

[edit] it's free to watch. you just need to sign up on NBA.com. you'll find a link to do so under the "Watch" area

good for the Warriors (that 18th pick is safe), and great for my Golden Bears =) I would've liked to have seen him in Warrior Blue n Gold from a second rounder, but another year in school will do wonders for him.

saw the news in the espn chat, then searched around for an article

SportsNation Andy Katz: Tom, this was incorrect. Check out our site. Hardin is coming back to Cal. All is good in Berkeley.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2007/news/story?id=2908057

now if only i can convince Mully to try and trade for Powe now instead
