I've been an NFL fan prior to the merger so I've watched every Super Bowl and remember when Lombardi was a coach and not just a name on a Trophy and the Championship wasn't named after a freakin' Super Ball. I was a Browns fan when Paul Brown was the head coach and became a Bengals fan as soon as Paul Brown set up shop and went to work in Cincy. I am a die hard Bengal fan and have seen the good; Super Bowls XVI and XXIII and the bad. I'm Old School so I Bitch @ all of the rule changes,Strikes and over paid Players. When you've watched all of the greats in Canton play you're allowed to complain every now and then about stuff like the Colts midnight move to Indy or flags flying for just glancing a players helmet (and I'm not talking about Ken Andersons head being nearly torn off) or the blatant no calls and penalty's for looking at a ref the wrong way.If they're going to play flag football and start charging fans to watch on TV...forget about it. It took years to forgive the NFL for the strike season and it's replacement players and the games that actually counted that year. Now you have to pay to watch the NFL Network...I don't think so. My hats off to all of those old Pros who's blood and sweat made the NFL what it is today. To all of you newbies that think the Steelers were always a winning Team, go visit Canton and look around. The Steelers stunk for so many years they were a disgrace to the league before the Chuck Noll Era. Players today are over paid and over rated and sometimes it's hard to recognize the game I loved as a kid.
