Raised in Cleveland, joined navy straight out of high school. Just like most people from Ohio, I lived on our sports teams as a kid, was raised to love them and it hasn't went anywhere. That love makes the pain that much more intense when they fail, but if we didn't care then it wouldn't matter. From traveling all over the country I can say that there is an Ohio State bar in every city I've been to and a Browns Backers Club in most of those. The consensus is: I love Ohio, I just don't wanna go back.
Also have family in Jersey (Asbury, Neptune, and Newark), so I'm a secondary Jersey fan, just Nets and Jets though. Guess I have a thing for sucky ass teams or ones destined to break my heart.
Oh, and I live in Jacksonville, so I give the Jags a certain amount of respect. Not much, but at least more than the "fans" here. This city doesn't need a pro team.
