I know many of you don't dare go to an FU page, but you have an opportunity to shed some light on the Bowden Retirement at the Gaytor SB Nation page. They seem to be confused so I thought I'd let you guys know about it so you can clear up the issue and defend FSU if you'd like. Since we have kind of a lull today on the FSU front it might be something to occupy your time.

It appears that former coach Amato has had successful treatment of his throat and neck cancer

"Without a doubt, I’ve been a blessed person," Amato said by telephone from his home Tuesday afternoon. "I said that when I got the N.C. State head job. ... When you throw all of them into it, the different type of cancers there are, I was very, very fortunate to have a cancer that was very correctable and had a high rate of curing." Amato, 63, learned April 15 that his treatment was successful

Although we definately were not easy on him during his time as a coach at FSU, we never wished harm on him and it's good to see he's doing ok.

This seems like more proof that Miami is having some issues with money. Can you imagine TX or Bama ever signing up to play ND at Soldier Field?

This is a video by (the now famous) "Pbysh" that shows a little glimpse inside the locker room after the UNC game. Fisher speaks to his offense at the end of the video and even mentions "If we have to score every time from now on, that's what we'll do". Not sure how much confidence was being shown toward the defense, but it's a telling speech. And the breakdown at the end? He has them say 'Love' on 3. How many other head coaches are you hearing this from. Interesting glimpse into his mind there. (Bud, if this has been posted before I apologize, but I haven't seen it on here before.
