Heres the bad news....
One foot in
We'll be watching a number of underclassmen closely over the coming weeks who are "testing the waters." That means they haven't hired agents yet and are still open to returning to school. College players have until May 8 to withdraw from the draft without losing their eligibility. Among the top players taking that option:
Ashton Gibbs, G, Pittsburgh
Tobias Harris, F, Tennessee
Tu Holloway, PG, Xavier
Scotty Hopson, SG, Tennessee
Reggie Jackson, G, Boston College
Reggie Johnson, C, Miami
Terrence Jones, F, Kentucky
Brandon Knight, G, Kentucky
Darius Morris, PG, Michigan
Isaiah Thomas, G, Washington
Klay Thompson, G, Washington State
Jordan Williams, C, Maryland
A quick check among NBA scouts and agents reveals that virtually all of these players are far enough down the road with agents that it's impossible they'll return to school. I'm told Knight, Jones, Thompson and Williams are almost for sure going to stay in the draft.
its not definite but it looks like he is gone. I don't agree with him going pro, but i wish him the best of luck. Lets gooo Padgett, Weijs, Breunig, Hawk, Pankey and anyone else that has to attempt to fill Williams' shoes!
Olu ashaolu
He was a PF for Louisiana Tech and he was a four star recruit out of highschool. He graduated got his release and has one year of eligibility. He got a double double vs texas and iowa(only two big six conference schools the team played). He would be a perfect stop gap fill in for one year at PF (small PF hes 6'7 but marylands use to small bigs) and he wouldnt take up a scholly for 2012. Anyone know anything more about him? or if its even a possibility that he would want to come here? he averaged 14pts and 9.4 rebounds a game this past season. His only other high competion I guess would be utah state twice and he didnt do so great in those games.

Vasquez may need surgery
Saw this on rotoworld.com
Grizzlies rookie point guard Greivis Vasquez is dealing with an ankle injury that might require surgery.
Vasquez struggled to run the team's offense during Summer League, but the Grizzlies "remain optimistic about his competitive spirit, ability to score and the size he brings to the position." Doctors are expected to evaluate Vasquez this week, and hopefully surgery won't be necessary.
Greivis Vasquez is better than mike conley; that is a fact.
