&lt;p&gt;I know it has been mentioned on here that the Brewers have played a tougher schedule then most of their division counterparts.&amp;nbsp; Here Max Wasserman of Cornell wrote an interesting article for The Big Lead about strength of schedule and RPI as it relates to the baseball season.&amp;nbsp; The uneven scheduling as presented has a greater then negligible impact on playoff races that like last year were decided by an extra play in game.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At the end of the article he lists this years numbers and the Brewers at this point are ranked fourth.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
