Jonathan Sanchez
Sorry if this has already been brought up before, I haven't exactly been lurking this site as much as I used to. Obviously with Zito's impending return to the rotation, we are going to have to give up on one of our current pitchers. I feel this pitcher should be Jonathan Sanchez. Obviously Lincecum and Cain are out of the question, and Vogelsong has been Cy Young worthy so far this year. Bumgarner has a long and bright future with the Giants and he does not have control problems like Sanchez does. Jonathan is just painful to watch and for some reason he never puts it together; what's his trade value at this point in time? I feel like we could get a last years Aubrey Huff type bat for him plus one of our low prospects, relievers, or bench players...Do you guys feel this way?
Whatever happened to the Miguel Cabrera rumors? I still think that he's better than any Fielder/Hart player we supposedly "need." He fits in at 1B and i thought i remembered quite a few incidents last year in which the Tigers did not want to put up with him any more.
Dallas Braden of the A's throws Perfect game
Good for him. Now BigTimeTimmyJim and the G-men need one. Oh, and fuck Alex Rodriguez
Mark Teixeira is an asshole
He cant take it when he gets hit so takes out the catcher who is in his first game. Poor guy.

This is not relevant to anything except our ability to create rallys.
Interesting Article
I had no idea this could happen but apparently it gives a reason as to why Buster Posey is in Triple-A
For those of you who own MLB 2k10, why can't i advance past the first season in My Player mode? If i try to sim to the next season the game seems to sim over the whole season and no games are played. Basically, it skips entire seasons when i sim so help?
I really don't like the looks of this picture... just look at his elbow...
Your 2013 World Series Champions! (2k9)
So i decided to pull out the dusty, glitchy, ole MLB 2k9 the other day and i started simulating seasons like crazy. After many unrealistic free agent signings and trades later, (there was a payroll) i came across a new, revamped San Fransisco Giants! My lineup consists of...
1) Nick Markakis RF
2) Pablo Sandoval 3B
3) Prince Fielder 1B
4) Jay Bruce CF
5) Buster Posey (created player, realistic in my opinion) C
6) John Bowker LF
7) Juan Uribe SS (cheap and he hit 21 dingerz)
8) Brian Bocock 2B (15 dingerz and a .271 avg)
Bench
Nate Scheirholtz
Rotation
1) Tim LIncecum
2) Madison Bumgarner (created player, not so realistic)
4) Barry Zito (redid his contract to 4 million a year)
5) One of those made up minor leaguers
Bullpen
4 made up minor leaguers
Regular Season record: 90-72
Remember, I did this while staying in payroll and the easy trade cheat off! If only this could really happen....

The know-it-all’s on McCovey Chronicles have lambasted Sabean for this move. Hell, any move he makes gets shellacked over there. But, I for one, think this is a great deal for the Giants. Like you said, it’s a "low risk, high reward" signing that could end up paying huge dividends. Huff is not exactly over-the-hill (just turned 33) and he’s really only had the one off year (last year when he was traded midway through the season). He’s playing for a contract again. Last season was his peak contract ($8M) and now he’s taken a huge pay cut ($3M). You don’t think he wants to prove himself? I do, and that’s why I think this is a great signing by Sabean. Although, of course, time will be the real judge, won’t it?
Bonds' son Charged for Assault on Mother
Lay off the 'roids boy. They give you anger.
Brian Sabean (WARNING: THERE IS NO POINT TO THIS POST)
I wonder what his kids ask for Christmas? If they wanted Matt Holliday and Jason Bay would Sabean buy em? Or say they wanted to release Renteria and sign a good Shortstop? I want to dress up in a disguise and pretend to be his kid and ask for this kind of stuff. I bet his kids asked for Barry Zito and Aaron Rowand with big, pointless contracts and they secretly knew that they would fail in San Francisco. Ooh I hate Brian Sabean's kids with a passion now....(I warned you didn't I?)
Your a Dumb one, Mr. GM
You're a dumb one, Sabean.
You really are an ass.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. GM.
You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.
You're a monster, Sabean.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. GM.
I wouldn't touch you, with a
hundred foot foul pole.
You're a vile one, Sabean.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. GM.
Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crockodile.
You're a foul one, Sabean.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. GM.
The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."
You're a rotter, Sabean.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. GM.
Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful signings of free agents imaginable,
You screwed us over for years.
You nauseate me, Sabean.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. GM.
You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce.
(I wanted to change more but this is a really good description of him)

Possilbe signings?
We could sign 3B Troy Glaus to a minor league deal? He is only 33 and still has decent power. He will not want much after his horrific season last year. As recently as 2008 he had 27 home runs.
Chien-Ming Wang we could sign a number 5 starter. He will probably want more money after how much he got paid with the Yankees
Ben Sheets?
I think Ben Sheets could be a good idea. He is coming off of an injury year and no one has yet to look at him, which probably means he will be cheap. Could he be A number 5 starter while Bumgarner develops?
I know most of us have thought of the Adrian Beltre idea, but how about Alex Gorden? His career is on the rise and I'm sure that the Royals wont want much for him. What do u think?
