Baltimore Beat Down With the Sizzle injury

I understand you guys drafted Courtney Upshaw this year. I couldn't help wondering about your 2nd round pick from a couple years ago Sergio Kindle. What do you guys think about him? Will he be able to make a push for playing time, has he shown any effort recently? How much of an impact can he have?

I'm a die hard Giants fan but I love the way your defense plays (Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Ngata, and Suggs are my favorite defesive players outside of NYG) and it made me upset to hear about Suggs' injury. Just wanted to see if you guys think Kindle can help fill the void to keep this defense dominant.

Big Blue View DBs for consideration?

Here are a couple of names I thought the Giants could consider bringing in for training camp. I tried to focus on guys who are veterans of 6 or so years and up. I think we have enough young guys on the roster now. Feel free to make your case for other free agents I may not have listed. My source was nfl.com so I'm not sure how accurate they are about them being free agents or not.

Nick Harper - 9 seasons age 35

Anthony Henry - 9 seasons age 33

Corey Ivy - 11 seasons age 33

Ty Law - 15 seasons age 36

Ken Lucas - 9 seasons age 31

Keiwan Ratliff - 6 seasons age 29

Samari Rolle - 11 seasons age 33

Brain Russell  - 8 seasons age 32

Keith Smith - 6 seasons age 30

Fred Smoot - 9 seasons age 31

Shawn Springs - 13 seasons age 35

Deshea Townsend - 12 seasons age 34

Frank Walker - 7 seasons age 28

Big Blue View Safety Sean Jones a possibility?

Hey guys, what about making a run at Sean Jones? Last I checked he was a UFA, probably won't cost too much, a hard hitting SS, and is a better cover safety than anyone we have at S now who is not named Kenny Phillips. He has had a lot of experience and I can't seem him hurting our defense. I'm not saying he is going to be our savior, but I can see him helping us out a little bit. Anyone see picking him up?

Big Blue View Safety, Linebacker, or Trade Down?

I've seen a lot of scattered ideas of what to do with the 15th pick, so I decided to kill some time with this thread. Assuming McClain does not fall to us, what shod JR do with our first pick? At that point it might be too early to reach for a safety or linebacker, and a Defensive Tackle is not as much as a priority as S and MIKE. I'd say trade down later in the round to grab a Linebacker and try to get some picks in the 3rd or 4th (if we're lucky the 2nd) round to grab a talented S . What do you guys think?
