So...next year?
We got some surprises this year, Matt D'agostini probably being the biggest one. Do you think he's good for 20 goals every year? Or did he benefit from playing time on the top 2 lines and is more of a 3rd line, 10-15 goal scorer? What about Berglund? He seems to have found his game after missing it since his rookie year. He got back up to his career highs and had a good year. Does he continue to move up or does he slip back into inconsistency? Alex Pietrangelo....what a year for him. He was our best defenseman, despite being a "rookie"(quotes because the NHL doesn't consider him as such), and earned himself an A on his jersey by season's end. My biggest worry with him is a terrible case of the sophomore slump, it happens to so many, let's hope Petro can stay away from it. How about David Perron? This season was obviously a wash for Perron, as he wasn't able to play for most of it. Many, myself included, expected a break out year for him, where he would score 30+ goals, and undress many a player across the league. Does missing this season hinder his progress? Or does his breakout year still happen...just next year? Does Jackman make it back next year? Conklin(probably not)? Is Ben Bishop ready for the backup role full time? Are we in for another defensive logjam next season with different players being rotated out of the final spots? Is there any room for Jonas Junland to come back? Do the Blues make any major moves over the summer? How does the ownership situation play out?
All of these questions and more will be answered in the coming months..... WELCOME TO THE ST. LOUIS BLUES OFF SEASON!
Canuck hating Blues fan here.....
Since you guys got into the playoffs.....please do something for me.....mmmmmk? PLEASE Kick the living shit out of Vancouver
Game Time Bags
So, I was at the home opener, and got my totally awesome Silent Jay for Selke posters, and got my Game Time, but unfortunately, my vendor was out of the Game Time Bags, I managed to spot a few of them throughout the night and I want one badly!!! Any chance there will be more of them? The next game I'm going to is on the 22nd against Chicago. Love me some Game Time swag!
Anyone go to the charity softball game?
I got some autographs there, Berglund, Brewer, Johnson, Janssen, and Tkachuk. I came real close to getting MacInnis, I was almost literally right on top of him, but he got away. My quest to get my puck that I got the night they retired his number signed by him continues.... So anyway, did anyone else go? It was a good time I thought. Favazz kinda seems like a dick though I think, maybe I'm wrong though.
I'm a Blues fan, therefore I'm legally obligated to hate the Blackahwks and Red Wings...
But there is another team that I hate even more. And that team is the Vancouver Canucks. That team is the most whiny group of piece of shit bastards in the NHL. That is why I'm putting aside my hate for the hawks for one series(and maybe two if you end up against Detroit later on). For one series, i'm pulling for the Blackhawks. I simply can't stand the Canucks and want them to fail. So, from a Blues fan, let's go hawks! Whip the Canucks whiny asses!

If we could choose....
If we, as Blues fans, could choose who we want to see back next year, with no restrictions, who would we pick? My list will have no mention of who is a free agent and who isn't or anything like that. I will list every player that wore the Blue Note this year(with the exception of Keith Tkachuk and Yan Stastny), and tell you if I would like to see them back next year. This doesn't mean that I would necessarily want them back full time, some guys like Pietrangelo, Eller, Junland, and Strachan maybe could use some more time in Peoria, but I would like to see them at least get some games in the Blue Note this year.
