Daily Norseman Who is attending Panthers vs. Vikings?

I'm heading down from VA to see the game this week.  Wanted to see what you guys recommend for the pregame meal and beverages - well, beverages mostly.  In the past, I've gone to Rock Bottom Brewery, but it's been about 5 years.  I'm sure things have changed quite a bit.  I also like the Irish place Ri Ra.  Thanks in advance for any advice and maybe I'll see some of you there.

Daily Norseman Can someone explain the "flex" schedule

I have tickets to attend the Vikings/Panthers game in Charlotte on 12/20.  The ticket says 8:15, but also mentions that the game could be flexed to 1:00 or 4:15.  I'm in northern VA, so it's about a 6 hr trip for me.  That makes a 1:00 kickoff quite a problem.  How likely is it that this game will be moved to either timeslot?  How much notice will I have if it does get moved?

Daily Norseman Starting QB for tonight

Sage Rosenfels will start at quarterback in the Minnesota Vikings' preseason opener at Indianapolis, Vikings coach Brad Childress told KFAN radio Friday morning.

Rosenfels is competing with Tarvaris Jackson for the starting job, but Jackson sprained his left knee on the second day of training camp and is still not 100 percent. Jackson and John David Booty are expected to follow Rosenfels against the Colts.

The Vikings have given Rosenfels his first opportunity to win a starting job in his nine-year career.

Kevin Seifert covers the NFL for ESPN.com.
