Twinkie Town Twins Cinema

Hi fellow Twins fans!  Long time (somewhat) viewer, first time poster here.  I just wanted to share with you all a fun video that one of my graduate school classmates put together during his "pre mid-life crisis."

He and one of his buddies decided to go on a journey of all 30 ballparks in the majors during the summer of 2008, and essentially document their trip the whole way.  From what I understand, they focused on a theme for each one of their games, and tried to feature the fans of every team in the process.  Most of it has little to do with the actual game itself, but their experiences at the ballpark.

The theme for their trip to the Metrodome was "Twins Cinema: Greatest Baseball Movie Ever?"

This 10 minute flick may not be for all of you, but I certainly enjoyed it!  The segment is from their complete project titled "Base Crawl".

This isn't a plug, or an attempt to make any money, I just thought it was a cool vid from a couple of very creative talented dudes who were trying to get a hometown feel at every Major League ballpark.

Enjoy!  Link is below:

Daily Norseman Where do we go from here?

I know, it is just one loss.  We still have a good lead in the division and a probable 1st rd bye in the playoffs.  But I am really more concerned with how we looked against a Superbowl caliber team and the loss of EJ Henderson.  I only saw the replay of his injury once, but damn.  My guess is that he is gone for the season.  Who steps up for him?

What do we make of our Vikes after a fluffy schedule and high expectations?  Honestly, they looked lost out there.  They took an early lead and I thought that we had it in the bag.  Arizona really stepped up their game and handled the Vikings in every facet of the game.  I know that AD was shut down early, but when the Cardinals are obviously playing the pass do we keep passing?  Whey do we run towards the right side of the line when we are playing 2 backups a 1st year starter?

I am sorry and I know that I may be overreacting, but I was extremely frustrated with how we looked tonight.  The Cards are the type of teams that we will meet in the playoffs.  Home field or not, we have to make a better effort than this.
