JP couldn't have done this trade 2-4 months ago and saved us tons of grief?!

Imagine Laroche as our DH.  A lefty with decent numbers in the 7th or 8th spot instead of the DH by committee we have trotted out since Snider was sent down.  Any decent GM could see the Pirates are eminently fleecable...but JP is too honest a guy? Or just too obtuse? (apologies to Shawshank)
