Gerald Green Signs With A Team...
...In Russia.
Talk about how downhill this kid's career has gone. I feel terrible for Gerald. He was a great kid, and just wasn't ready for the league. I think the NBA has a good thing going right now with the 1 year in college thing, but the debate here should be if a team wants to take a risk on a kid out of high school, let them. John Wall doesn't need a year of college.
Back to Gerald, though. I wish him the best of luck and hopefully, Russia works out well for him.

5th Annual SU Charity Sports Auction
http://sucharitysportsauction.com/
Hey everyone, I wanted to thank you for your support last year, and would like to ask for your support again this year.
We decided as our club to get a built-in audience for our event, so this year, we will be running the Auction before and during the Saturday, December 5th game against the Maine Black Bears. We will be opening doors a half hour early, and bidding begins at 5 pm in the backcourt. We feature almost 300 items this year, and our beneficiary is the Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse.
I just ask that if you attend the game, please stop by in the back court and place a bid. Your help goes a long way for these families that cannot afford housing while their child is treated in the hospitals.
I know you all twitter, so follow our items of the day and other press releases at twitter.com/suspmauction

Jeremiah Kobena
This little talked about recruit had a monster of a game this weekend. The numbers are pretty eye popping and show why Marrone was the first to offer this kid.
"Cardinal Hayes senior running back Jeramiah Kobena put up a career-high six touchdowns in a 42-28 triumph against St. John the Baptist.
Kobena, who has committed to Syracuse University, scored on runs of 45, 75, 3, 5, and 20 yards. He also ran a punt back 85 yards for a touchdown en route to 361 all-purpose yards — 196 on rushing attempts."

Straight up absurd. I think we found our punt returner and big playmaker.

Noro's Entry
For some reason, i decided to take the Blue out of the uniform completely except for the collar and helmet stripe. Took the Block S off the helmet because i was going for a somewhat simplistic design. However, i do like the block S on the current helmets... Personally I think they may be a bit bland but I think a lot of college football teams that embrace tradition have a bit more simple uniforms. So why not.
And they are straight up Badass. So there.

Billy Mays Rest In Peace
The man, the myth, the legend, Billy Mays was found dead in his home today. Pretty much the top gun for all TV-made products, no one can even compare. The guy was cruising right along with his show, he is easily the most recognizable pitchman ever, and is behind the best drive-thru stop ever.
He was so inspirational, this kid dubbed over some of his infomercials to make some of the funniest pitches i have ever seen.
So here's to you Billy Mays. We're gonna miss you.

Nassib Named Starting QB
Nassib named starting quarterback for Syracuse football team
It appears that we have a starting QB. Doug wastes no time, as only 4 practices in we have our guy. I think this is the right way to go, as Arob and Cam really aren't D1 QB's, and now we can really see what we have here. Good luck to Nassib this season.
I really just can't see Arob as a tight end, but I guess we will see how that works out...
