A's-to-San-Jose plan could be running out of time before deadline, Stanford expert says
Oakland A's owner Lew Wolff's venting this weekend about the slow pace of talks to move his team to San Jose could be a sign the relocation effort is in trouble, one leading sports economist said.
"It was a slight change in mechanics that changed everything," he added. "I was turning my upper body too much before. It's hard to even see on film, but as soon as I made the adjustment, my confidence came back and I've been getting outs and hitting the inside corner. Error was on Lewis: He used Bo's towel
WASHINGTON — Even at the White House, Fred Lewis managed to put himself in the clubhouse fine box.

The team burst out laughing, and the tour guide apologized for embarrassing Lewis.
"Naw, that's the best part," right-hander Matt Cain said. "Trust me, he does it all the time."
