nobody else is doing this so i figured I'd give it a shot. My last post wasn't too popular luckily I feel most attacked only my ideas and not me. And for those who attacked me personally I have enough self-esteem to handle it (*crying inside*)
Donkeys have a middle team with middle talent. Lucky for them they are part of the culture of Colorado so they have a good fanbase and interest to weather tough times. With a crowd like that you just need to bring a coach that will make a team that won't quit to keep the fans happy. And win a lot too, but if they have a 6-10 season they won't be in too bad a shape.
Over on milehighreport.com they have a bunch of predictions but I wanted to make my prediction here.
I predict (this will hurt): Broncos HC: Ron Rivera.
This would, very simply, totally suck.
But he has been on the waiting list of a HC job for a long time. He's exactly what the Bronco's need.

Sure the dude's a jerk but wholly s*** he's not afraid.
Anybody can lose a football game but he'll always go down as a guy who went 100%. Even if it's a jerk way.
If Marty Shottenheimer is so great why hasn't anyone hired him?
Every time i hear about how bad Norv is I think back to San Diego in Indy playoff game. Sure Norv seems to expect to players to motivate themselves and sometimes the players seem to want to play FOR somebody but come playoff time you don't have to motivate players: you want them to slow down and concentrate and trust you. Norv playcalling is trusted. Anyhoo, that's my comment. Any questions I'll answer eventually

Anybody notice that without Travis Johnson Houston got burned on their first play by AP? His job was to eat up blocks there. Here it's to get to the QB (and eat up blockers)

Shawne Merriman is a super-insane amazing talent. We all know that. The questions for Bolts fans: is his knee repaired? Is he going to remember how to play football? Is he going to destory opposing quarterbacks? Strike fear in the eyes of Left Tackles?
(this is my first real fanpost, but hey you can only get better if you practice.)
The first step is the knee: it appears that it's back.
Most assume the next step is: Can he not be afraid of knee injury?
I think the next real question is: should he test it?
