Yahoo! Rumors reported that a Giants employee called Spiller the other day to make sure that they still had his correct cell phone number in case for some reason they needed to get in contact with him tomorrow night. Now I don't know how much truth there is to the actual report, to the Giants tipping their hand this much, etc. but just thought it was interesting and biding time until 7 tomorrow night.

I don't know if I've seen this up yet. I saw that the Bears are looking to trade DE Alex Brown. I don't suggest we trade for him because it is thought that they will release him soon if they can't find a trade. What do you guys think? I think this wouldn't be a terrible idea considering we wouldn't necessarily NEED to draft a DE in the draft, but it could leave the opportunity open to trade Osi if the chance arises (not a fan of though). What do you guys think?

There are some ludicrous suggestions about what the G-men are going to do this off-season. Tell me when was the last time the Giants signed a BIG name player? Chris Canty? I hardly think so. Sam Madison? An aging corner. Antonio and Plaxico are the first two that come to mind, otherwise, they don't try to sign high-profile players.

So why is it suggested that the Giants might go after Joey Porter or Richard Seymour? I think it's good for them to go after Dansby, but that is not as big an acquisition as Porter or Seymour. But its insane to see that reporters and fans think that the Giants should give up a 1st and 3rd for Houston LB Ryans.

I think they'll sign Dansby and try to draft the BPA in the draft because there is nothing wildly attractive at 15. We don't need a DE despite how great it is to have another pass-rushing DE. We have Tuck and Osi there and Kiwi is unhappy, rightfully so, to be sitting and Osi doesn't want to sit.
