What an off season! From a bengals fan perspective, I had never seen such an active off season like this one.... I am really excited to see how the bengals perform in 2009! In my opinion, I believe they will do good and make the playoffs, I am pretty confident!

The whole reason for this post is to talk about Chad! To me, every bengal fan should be thanking him for what he has done for the organization. I can remember back in high school, when Marvin took over, there wasn't much to root for. But after the first season, it seem like everybody started to notice them more. And if I remember correctly, Chad Johnson was the reason. Chad had this unbelievable swag about him. He made it so fun to watch the bengals. He was something to be proud about. Winning the recieving title in yards three years in a row, something no other receiver has done before. His touch down celebrations were all over sports highlights. He basically put Cincinnati back on the map!

I moved to Dallas recently and I can't stand some of these so called "cowboys fans", they are mostly bandwagons. They put so much hype into everything. Most Bengals fans are more loyal than these fans...... but my point is, when ever I talk about the Bengals they always mention Ocho Cinco. Chad has done a lot more good than bad for the city. I can't stand people when they complain about when he wanted to get out of Cincy last year. Yea, it might have not been the most mature thing he has done but the fact remains that he wants to WIN! and I really respect that.... I want players on this team who would do anything to win, I think he is at that point this year! You can see it in his eyes, he is serious and last year play was a fluke. There were a lot of missed opportunities that could have been the differences. We all need to keep in mind, the Bengals are a young team. Last year showed how inexpedience can move you back a couple of steps but don't blame all of it on chad.

To put everything in a nut shell, Chad is the man. He has done way more good than bad. The only negative about him was last year's rant to get out of Cincy. But to me, that is understandable because he is getting close to being done with his career and he wants that trophy as much as any elite player in the league wants it! So if you still haven't forgivenchad, you better now because towards the end of this season you will be on his side again. And we might as well get it started now, give Ocho and all the other players the support they need. Every championship team has a great fan base.... and I truly believe Bengals fans are like no other, we are loyal and we take football really serious! WHO DEY baby!

respectfully,

AMAS

p.s. and by the way.... I really like the fact he changed his last name... there are to many johnsons in the league... his name stands out, just like his personality!
