Bucs Nation Confused..

So I had my mom race us home from work (14 years old, not thirty ha) just so i could see our pick. Honestly i was expecting the pick. But why did we trade up?? I mean did anyone actually think Denver was going to take a qb? Well whatever. At first i hated Freeman. But if all these people are saying he is like Big Ben then hey how bad can he be. And think about it.. If he is bad then we end up like the chargers and Ryan Leaf... get a high pick and pick a true franchise player (Chargers got LT)

But off that topic.. why did we take a OT???

We have a great young line!! The other picks i understand..

Pat White worked out as a WR for the Patriots and Broncos.
I think he is an amazing athlete and the Bucs would have a good amount of talent if they picked him up maybe in the 3rd round.

Bucs Nation Saints release Mike McKenzie

On Thursday, Saints released veteran CB Mike McKenzie.

He stands at 6 ft. 194 pounds. He has been playing in the league for 11 years. so yes he is over 30. he is 32 to be exact.

i think he would be a good one or two year deal just for leadership.

he is a great athlete and was a leader in New Orleans.

It would be great to sign a division rivals ex-starter.

he could give alot to the Buc orginization.

Thoughts?

Bucs Nation Jay Cutler

So I came home early from school today and started watching NFL Network.

It came on one of the newsbreaks that Cutler has skipped his Volunary Monday meetings.

Cutler also said he wont attend ANY voluntary meetings.

the biggest news of it all:

he has asked his agent to "formally" ask for a trade out of Denver.

They didnt name any contenders though....

i also read in the paper that he wants to be out of Denver by draft day.

Bucs Nation looked up a few mock drafts again

a few said to take knowshon moreno. but i think since we got ward that will get updated to someone new. i dont think we would waste a first rounder on a position we just upgraded. but i was searching and a few said percy harvin... i have been saying alot that i would like to draft and wide reciever. we need a playmaker and/or a down field threat. i think percy harvin would be a great choice...

tell me what you think

Mon Mar 02, 2009 9:21 am EST

Astounding allegations: Bill Belichick did something friendly

Hmmm.. What could this mean for the bucs? maybe roger goddell will do something about it!?

Added by The Bull Gator: Just trying to get this post to the 75 word limit. You can ignore all of this. Or read it and wish you had the 10 seconds of your life back I just wasted. Sorry about that. Go Bucs!

Bucs Nation mock drafts

well i had some time today and looked up two different mock drafts..

the only teams i were concerned about were the bucs and the lions (not a lions fan..i always watch the first pick)

the first draft said the lions would take mark sanchez

to me.. im not sure. after watching his combine im a little disapointed along with matt stafford

the other said to take stafford

obviously...dispointed. but besides that i was excited to see what they would say for the bucs

first was beanie wells (who also disapointed me)...i dont think we need another back...but maybe his talent is too good to pass up at our position in the draft

the other was josh freeman...cant choose between yes or no...

Who will the bucs take? what about the lions?

Bucs Nation I know a million people have probably already asked but...

I'm new to this site... Just signed up today. Anyways... How do you think Raheem will do? What are his work ethics like? How will he treat his players?

we just left Gruden who obviously didnt get along with a few players...

From some newspaper articles it seems like the players like Morris better.

is this going to affect the team?

is the act of kindness going to do better or worse for the Bucs..

share some ideas.

What will Raheem do?

Bucs Nation Quick Question about the Future...

So are we trying to re-build for the future by being a decent, non-play off team for a few years and then spark up or are we re-building like Bill Parcells and the Dolphins last year? I'm sort of confused there..

Also, if we have the highest cap room then why aren't we getting any top named players...or any players at all.

I do like how we got Kellen Winslow =]
