Lifelong sports geek. I was lucky enough to have a father who introduced me to sports at a very young age. Took me to many great events such as the opening game in the Dome, Astros vs Yankees in 1965, and the UCLA vs UH mega college basketball game in 1968. I got tickets to the opener at Enron also vs the Yankees and took my Dad, another cool moment. Now I get to take him to Texans games. Anyway, just trying to justify the lifelong sports geekdom. Been to thousands of sporting events, but my favorite is football, college and pro. I was a student at UT when the great Earl Campbell was a senior; awesome stuff there. Did not start attending Oiler games regularly until the run and shoot era, but have a Texans PSL and have been to almost all of the games from day one. Gameday at Reliant is a great experience. I tailgate in the yellow lot on the outer grass section. Texans are poised for a successful year, and with any luck will put together a nice run behind the core of talented youth Smithiak have assembled.
GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!!!!
