http://www.sbnation.comhttp://www.sbnation.com/users/oki Posts made by oki on SB Nation http://www.sactownroyalty.com/2009/1/9/716027/king-s-owners-team-directi oki Sat, 10 Jan 2009 06:49:00 -0000 <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Let's face some painfull facts;&nbsp; Sacramento, which once boasted a division leading&nbsp; team and&nbsp;deeply talented &nbsp;player and coaching staff, has had a complete and drastic makeover to that of&nbsp; the Futility Kings of the NBA.</p> <p>Why?</p> <p>Well we now have some new owners....the Maloofs.&nbsp; There from vegas....they like things loud,bright and flashy.......however,they just don't seem to care about winning..</p> <p>We once had one&nbsp; of, if&nbsp; not the best&nbsp; coaches in the league with Rick Adelman...but apparently he was too quietly demeanored and not glitzy&nbsp; or&nbsp; flashy enough for the vegas Maloofs....so gone......(btw with Houston now....a winning team)</p> <p>We once boasted talent both starting and off the bench enough to seal the deal down the stretch......we traded most of that away..except for the one we should have traded......in a typical Maloof goof we've made him our highest paid King......the sluggish , and&nbsp; so overpaid Brad Miller....13 million next year. What we could have done with that....!</p> <p>The Maloof's want a new big Arena....and&nbsp;all the parking revenue they can get thier money grubbing hands on...or i fear they will move the team.....which is by no coincidence i believe is the&nbsp;real reason we've seen the decline of the once great&nbsp;Kings......GREED...baby!</p> <p>I remember fondly the days of yore,&nbsp; of the past owners and management....remember them&nbsp;well my&nbsp;friends&nbsp;&nbsp;...the new owners have come to town....and look....in just three years what a wonderfull direction we're going......going......gone.&nbsp;</p>
