Just Juan-derful

Looks like Juan more year of Juan Castillo. I just Juant to drown myself in my bowl of Juan-ton soup! Juan would think there would be Juan or two other choices. You'd think Stevie Juander was our GM, the way they stumble around the coaching heap. I, for Juan, would have hoped to get a proven commodity, Juan who had a pedigree from a coaching tree that has Juan Juan or two rings. Just for Juance, I'd like to see my team on the podium. Is Juan Super Bowl ring in my life too much for Juan to ask? Call me an Eagles Juank, but I can't get this failed season out of my mind. If we would have Juan just Juan more regular season game, we could be sitting where the Giants are now. All I can do is Juander around the halls of my house, Juanting to turn on ESPN, but knowing that Juance I do, I'll see Juan Clayton's dorky face gushing over our failure, and I'll just Juant to cry- JUUAAAANN, JUUAAAANN, JUUAAAANN like a Juan year old baby.

I know some listeners like to kill him, but nonetheless, Colin is buying the Eagles, and ranks us #2 behind the Pack. While I'm paraphrasing, his basic take was the new players are gelling quicker than he expected. I tend to agree. Although we lost a close one Sunday, I saw improvement across the board. I think it won't be until about week 7 that we see just what we have here.

The Omen

My daughter's last hamster died last night. His name? "Giant"! I kid you not. She named him that not because she's a Giants fan, but because is was the biggest of a litter another of her hamsters had a few years a go. Before the game, she buried him in the yard and came in the house and said "Dad, I just buried Giant". It was at that point I knew something crazy was going to happen today. Of course, that didn't stop me from smashing a remote control ($15) when we went down 24-3 at the half.

I'll have an easy workout today. My trainer is a Cowpukes fan and texted me the news the second it broke. It seems this is all many 'boys fans can talk about. I'll be able to get extra rest between sets just by throwing out "so, how do you think Wade Phillips would have handled this?" or "jeez, I wonder how the Cowboy D will scheme for Vick?" should be an easy breezy morning...
