Huge photography bug(avatar is a photo from Lake Bled, Slovenia!), love travel (any place with beaches, good wine and interesting architecture. Big college football and hoops fan (NIU Huskies, NU Wildcats and EIU Panthers) also a Hockey nut(Blackhawks & Wolves). Respect and admire VaTech for all the support Hokie fans gave NIU after the shooting incident in DeKalb, IL last year. That will never be forgotten by many Huskie fans. Fight on Hokies!

Gobbler Country Hope the Hokies have a great season from an NIU Huskie fan

Fight on Hokies! All the support that NIU received after the shooting incident in DeKalb last year will never be forgotten. Hope you beat the blue turf out of Boise State on Labor Day nite!  A Bronco loss will be a boost to the Huskies chances for a big bowl game. NIU has Iowa State, Illinois and Minnesota on the schedule. All 3 BCS games are winnable and most of our toughest conference games are at home (Temple, Toledo). An 11 or 12 win season would put NIU in the top 25.
