Lache Seastrunk/ Willie Lyles Situation
This has been all over the radio the last couple days as this article gives a different view to the who Seastrunk/Lyles Situation. There are two articles posted and according to the author there are more to come with more information. I give credit to the Dave Smith show on 750 AM the Game for brining this to my attention and I now see the situation much differently than I did before.

After reading both of those, what are your thoughts? Are you a doom and gloom chip kelly will be sh*t canned and oregon will face USC type sanctions. Or do you think that this is a slap on the wrist, or a waste of time?
Pipe Dream???
If this rumor come to fruition I will absolutely shit my pants. I really hope he is in town this weekend and falls in love with the program. I have faith that Chip can make something happen if he came here. Hopefully we have a very happy Valentines day when he announces.....
Another Oregon Music Video....GO DUCKS
No TV for WSU???
I heard that there was no TV for the WSU game on the radio the other day and really couldn't believe it. Sounded like we got bumped because a time change request was denied and our game time conflicts with a couple of other Pac-10 games. So I guess I'm curious if anyway knows if the bars will be able to pick up the game or where that might be shown. I remember a couple years ago we had a game that wasn't on TV and someone on this blog posted the satellite location (i.e. sector 9 galaxy 8, or something like that). So GO DUCKS, and hopefully we can all watch another big W next week........
Oregon Baseball Wins First 2 Games against #1UCLA (Wins series)
Seeing as there is such little news coverage on Oregon Baseball and the fact that most of you won't hear about today's game until tomorrow I figured I would write up a little recap.
In case you missed it yestereday the Ducks beat the #1 Bruins in the series opener 5-4 with ace Tyler Anderson on the mound.
Today the Ducks came out and made a statement, winning this afternoon's game 8-4. The Ducks had 13 hits and 2 errors, and the Bruins had 7 hits and 2 errors.
Justin LaTempa got the start today and threw a great game into the 7th inning. He gave up 3 hits and 3 runs (2 earned, while striking out 3.
On the offensive side of the ball Danny Pulfer went 2 for 5 with a Home Run and a Double, Jack Marder and J.J Altobelli both went 2 for 4 with an RBI each. Curtis Raulinaitis had a big game going 2 for 4 with a Homer and a Triple, resulting in a team high 4 RBIs.
Oregon is now 23-11 on the year and moves to 6-5 in the Pac-10.
Ducks will go for their first Pac-10 series sweep since reinstatement tomorrow at noon.
Great to see the Baseball team is doing so well in their second season back. If you haven't had a chance to see them play, try to get to a ball game or catch them on TV, they are a lot of fun to watch and are on a good roll right now.
GO DUCKS
We aren't the only ones....

Message from UO Compliance Office
Saw this today and figured I ought to share...It seems like this is hard to enforce as there seems to be all sorts of groups on sites like facebook trying to encourage recruits to choose this school or that. Hopefully we don't get in trouble for something like this.
The following is a message from the UO Compliance Office:
Coaches are making their final pushes with prospects and NLI signing day is just a couple of days away, so the UO Compliance Office would like to share a warning to Duck fans as the annual recruiting milestone inches closer: you cannot correspond in any manner with a prospective student-athlete (recruit). It might seem like a harmless way to help, but in reality, it could hurt more than anything.
With the National Letter of Intent signing date drawing near, we just wanted to remind you that fan-driven wooing of high school prospects via letters, email, Facebook and other social networking sites is not permitted. The UO Compliance Office is requesting that all Duck supporters learn about the pitfalls of social networking sites when it comes to NCAA regulations.
Creating Facebook groups or contacting prospects via message boards, Twitter or other social networking sites to encourage them to attend UO violates NCAA regulations and can negatively impact the UO athletic program, so please refrain from crossing any lines when it comes to the world of cyber-recruiting.
Please feel free to contact the compliance office at 541-346-5439 if you have any questions.

Rose Bowl Uniforms...
This guy has been pretty right on all season so I will assume for now that this is the combo....
UW fans still the same despite their losing ways....
After reading This Story I was amazed with the way Husky fans must continually take shots at UO even when they have a losing football team. The article focuses on "academics" and "Research and Development" to prove that UW is such a far superior University than our University of Oregon while taking shots at us for having a successful football program.
I understand that there is some truth to what is written but some things just never change....So In the spirit of being Pac-10 champions and headed to the Rose Bowl I ask
Boise State gets PR firm?
OK. This just seems ridiculous to me. I have been getting so sick and tired of hearing about Boise State and the BCS that I want to vomit. Where do I even begin. ...
The system is obviously flawed. When you have to hire a public relations firm to help get your team into the media spotlight to garner votes and ranking, your team obviously doesn't have the credentials to do it themselves. Boise beat us. I get it. They beat us good. But. Who else have they beaten. Have they won any tough (by BCS league standards) road games? I mean if all it takes is one quality win, why doesn't oregon just drop out of the pac-10, schedule a team like cal or oregon state every year then fill the rest of our schedule with bowling green, wsu, grambling state, san jose state, etc (no offense)? What I'm getting at is that this system is frustrating. It rewards weak schedules and voter bias. If it really is about your resume at the end of the season, then make it about the resume. Because at the current pace there are going to be a few 2 loss teams that have better winS(emphasis on plurality) than Boise.
Sorry about the rant, but I finally hit my tipping point. When will the BSC (and yes I meant BSC and not BCS) system end.
Feel free to comment on Boise's chances, and thoughts on the system as a whole.
And always GO DUCKS

UW Ad
Just came to check what was new on the blog and noticed a very large banner for UW gear, something like dawg den or something ridiculous like that. I know its just an ad, but seeing that on ATQ really got my blood flowing. I wish there was someway so that I would never have to see any sort of washington ad on an oregon site. Its too bad we can't get a duckstore ad to show up on a huskey blog. Anyone else see this garbage?
