After reading the new TM, I've decided to bury the hatchet with aTm. I want us to keep playing them on Thanksgiving. Why?, because its tradition. Think of the first Sat.in October with ou. They were in the Big 8 and we played them, at a neutral site, every year, and oh what a tradition it is. Well, so is Thanksgiving. Lets put out an olive branch, show them what kind of university Texas is, and play the game. I know some will say that we are not going to play them because it would bring to much extra cash to their school. Well, in my opinion, its not the money, its the game....

Both Fridays edition and todays are full of UT/CFB articles. Fridays has a good  VY article. I can't get enough VY info, He is "The Greatest of ALL Time".

  With respect to the effort during the RRS, the only game this past year where a concerted effort was put forth for all 4 qtrs was the Holiday Bowl. I hope this "Boot Camp" continues for years to come.
  This program will always get quality recruits. The question is, will the coaches take these athletes to the next level. I believe the staff is in place (GD???). Will Boot Camp stay in place?
  Take 1 player out of the equation (Sir Vincent) and what has this program done in the last 10 years. Holiday and Alamo Bowls. VY was a very unique talent that MB decided to let Vince play his game. The decision worked, but how much talent was not motivated to step-up to VY's. The defense has really had great talent in my mind that didn't play up to their potential, I'll blame coaching and schemes.
  You can get all the 5 Star recruits you want, but unless they buy into the "Team' concept, and proper coaching follows, we will continue to have 10 wins and Holiday Bowl experiences. Every position should be open, period...
  Remember: Colt was a 3 Star!!!!!!!!!

I hope the coaches and players play a great game, and if that's not enough F-it. I'll still thank God that I was born in Texas and that till the end of time ou will still suck.

I love MB but can he get a staff with these kind of recruits to win on a regular basis.
The answer is no or is it yes...........I'm tired of watching us drop in the ratings.

The other question is, do we run a clean program.........No body does......Dope is part of our culture. Don't lie to ourselves...... they do it like.  We did it.........

I appreciate MB as our Coach...........Can we win a "National Championship" without problems..
The answer is yes...........If other programs and PD do their job like APD does theirs.

I was intending for this to be a poll for the whole schedule but the poll data was to long so I shortend it to Conference games.

I really believe we have a good chance to run the table, both conference games as well as non-conf.
Most publications feel that UT will have 1 loss, but still win Big 12 championship.

I'm trying to decide which team concerns me the most.
I guess I'm going with Okie State @ Stillwater. Texas will be undefeated setting up a spoiler game for the cowboys.

This has got to be one of the best trick plays ever thought up. The referees would have to be informed of how it works or they would blow the whistle.

Bubba had been going to the University of Oklahoma for 11 years and just couldn't graduate. One day, the Dean of Students calls Bubba in to his office and says,"Bubba, we're going to give you the opportunity to graduate.  In a month, at half time of the homecoming football game, we are going to bring you out on the field and ask you one question. If you get it right, you get your degree. If you get it wrong, you have to go home without it and not come back."

I,for one, am rooting for aTm. Helps legitimize  the Big 12 conference.Takes away from the "Big East" and in general helps UT. I want us to play aTm in the semi's. If this was ou, I would not be saying this. Call me a hypocrite, but ou sucks.

I just read a Dallas Morning News column, online, stating that Ramonce was leaving Texas College in Tyler to go in the NFL draft.

The News said he had till the end of March to serve out his 60 jail sentence.

Ramonce also was academically ineligible for Football at Texas College.

What a waste of a good talent. I wish GD would put J. Charles in situations like Texas put Taylor.

Just before the final play of Sunday's Titans-Houston Texans game at Reliant Stadium, Bruce Matthews (Retired OL for Oilers/Titans) had a feeling something big was about to happen.

So many names and so many games. What about DKR?
I apoligize for leaving someone off, but the poll has limited space.
I can't decide between Earl and VY.
Earl got the Heisman, VY got the Championship.

1st: 9-3 was my prediction without VY,and other great players, plus we were starting a Freshman QB.
2nd: VY was the heart and soul of this team not the coach.
3rd: Coach Mac took the gloves of for VY, the offense was set for his style of play.
4th: despite playing a VY style offense, this team beat ou and that's all that fucking matters.

Last but not least:Coach Mac needs to tell GD to change-up because VY is now scoring 24pt's in the 4th quarter of NFL games.

Why is it when we're shuttin opponents down that the"DEFENSE" is greatness, but give up a few big plays , and all of a sudden they stink. How much good has Ross done for us. Yes, it out weighs the bad. I'll take our guys over anyone else we've played. Did you expect only 2 losses this season......You were hoping,but be realistic, after VY we all thought doom and gloom, not just that VY was gone, but we lost some other bigtime players as well. I think "THE TEAM" has played above expectations.We also have given some playing time to our younger players. Yte only issue I have is I don't like the offensive play calling some times. Other than that, I'll take this season, all things being considered.

Little Johnny was in his 4th grade class when the teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up - fireman, policeman, salesman, etc.

Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father. "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. to think that we didn't want to play against Boise State because they were below us in the polls. I wonder how they feel because they're above us now. If you'd have told me that at one point we'd have a chance at the "Big Game", We'd beat ou, only have 2 losses going into the aTm game, I'd think that VY had stayed for his senior year.
This season has turned out to be way better than i was thinking. We still can win the Big 12 and go to a BCS game. I'll take it.
