RECONSTRUCTION starts from the TOP!
The fact of the matter is the Warriors won't be good until the franchise is sold and we say good bye to Don Nelson. Run and gun is a fun system, but it's not a system that's working right now. We can preach about all the drama of who we can trade for with Jack-ass (S. Jack), but the fact is we couldn't utilize the talent, even is we did receive a Chris Bosh, Elton Brand and or a Amare because of our terrible coach and mocked franchise. It's known in Warriors history of talent we've HAD but can't reap on the benefits, Arenas, Jamison, PIetrus, J Rich, and all the other talent in the NBA the Warriors traded away or gave up.
Everyone can agree we have the talent, but we don't have the staff to know what to do with it. We have potential all-stars in Monta, Biedrens, and possible Randolph (with the right guidance). But we don't have the focus or coaching we should be investing in! Our first two games were a mockery and should be embarrassing, rightfully so. We have ball hogs, no D, so offensive team work in play, and no finite leader. I'm 10000% Warriors fan to the bone and it kills me when Don Nelson happens to only coach and last few minutes of the game. We couldn't beat the like of Houston, an injury plagued team with no all-stars in the lineup. We couldn't beat the Suns, embarrassed by Amundson and Frye?! We easily should have won both game with at least by 5 to 10 points. There was no reason to lose both with the scorers we have in Morrow, Steph, and Monta.
Who we need to get rid of is Chris Cohan, Rowell, and Nelson, not the scoring talent. That's only when we'll have a winning season! Then maybe we can pick up all-stars we our cap space and expiring contracts.
My plan -
Step 1. Franchise needs to be sold to someone who's worthy of carrying the jock of this team.
Step 2. Bye Bye Don Nelson, we need a coach like Rick Adelman again.
Step 3. Possibly bring Mullin back, yes he did makes mistake in trades but hell, he did bring players that got us our first playoffs in 15 years.
Step 4. S. Jack and Maggette, GONE! If there's any player I hate the most being on our team is Maggette, worthless. 50 mill for what? And injury plagued, ball hogging, no D, player? Thanks Rowell and Cohan.
Step 5: More starts to Morrow, Curry and Randolph - It's obvious Curry will be our franchise pg, yes I saw them mistake the first two games (remember he's a rook). Nelson needs to let Randolph release that talent beast inside. Bench S. Jack cause he's not wanting to play for us anyhow - and you can tell from his style the first two games, and let Morrow get his offensive attack on immediately! This tactic is a gamble - but the only way Warriors get recognition from the league and public is if we give our young guys a chance to make a name for themselves, and stop giving minutes to black hole players like s jack and maggette.
I'm hoping Morrow is invited to the 3pt shoot out.
Steph Curry starts to bring his A game to the NBA level so he can compete for Rookie of Year.
Randolph becomes an All Star within the next 2 years! He has Chris Bosh's strengths and young legs. Just needs more weight to run with the big dogs.
What you guys think?
