At 2-5 in the Pac-10, Arizona itself might be a bit of a doormat, but that doesn't make it OK to just go around and wipe your feet on Chase Budinger's face.

That's what Houston's Aubrey Coleman did to Budinger yesterday, and while I can't say for sure that I know the man's intent, you know, he did stomp on a guy's face, showed no signs of offering any kind of apology, and smiled while receiving a congratulatory "Hey, way to step on that guy's face!" high-five on his way off the floor. To me, that's unsportsmanlike.

Arizona went on to win 96-90 in overtime, despite the fact that Houston led 63-51 at the time of the face-stomping. Consider that your daily dose of karma, Mr. Coleman.

I'm not a big fan of the writer knocking on Vince's "depression" towards the end of it.

Why is it such a big deal that a football player wants to and does write country music? The world outside of Nashville just has a field day with all of us, eh? It's funny seeing everyone try to knock our players and team down in any underhanded way they can. They can't talk about our win-loss record being poor this year so they revert back to the always popular "well, they are just a bunch of rednecks" defense.

I just wanted to go out on a limb and make what I think is a fairly easy prediction for this weekend's game and sort of extend on Titan Rob's thread he started a few days ago.

VY will play against the Steelers this week.

Palpacino, from the inner net's best source for Titans Football, MCM, has been enjoying high-fives from everyone since yesterday's appearance of Vince Young in the Steelers game which he predicted many minutes before the game even started. If he were a betting man, he'd be dozens of dollars richer this morning, but then again, the new found riches would probably have been barely enough to cover the beer spilled while participating in the aforementioned high-fives.

Fisher-Dungy Collusion? No Way..

What do you guys think? To me, its obvious: Jeff only "knew" Dungy wouldn't call that timeout because he knows Dungy pretty well. My guess is Dungy saw the Titans as a better threat to the Patriots than the Browns!

I'm just glad that the Titans have rarely been in the Yahoo Rumors section at all in recent years (even with a few ones in there from that one guy that used to return punts for us and stuff).

NFL Fines - Too Much, Too Often?

Is the NFL fining players too much now behind Goodell?

Is it just me or are there more fines this year?

It seems like Roger Goodell has ran the NFL like some sort of Untouchable from the past. Why does he/they continuously have to flex their muscles at NFL players?

I think it is more than safe to say that players have been thinking twice before knocking the heck out of someone. I think of Mathias Kiwanuka during the Titans/Giants comeback last season when he just let Vince Young go because he 'thought' he had passed the ball, but then Vince made him pay for that.

What are anyone else's thoughts on this? Is it OK to fine a guy for the littlest of fouls?

Reggie Bush Out - Vince Young In?

Reggie Bush, by some accounts, will be made an NCAA criminal out of when Lloyd Lake comes forward to them with evidence that Reggie Bush accepted gifts from him while at USC. Hey Titans fans! Maybe Vince will retroactively get a Heisman!? Just a thought....
