some respect for the Panthers - What's next for Giants, Patriots
New York will have tough sledding with its schedule in 2012. There are the usual six NFC East games to deal with, in a division where everyone takes turns beating each other, as well as games against teams from the strong NFC South and AFC North. Those two divisions produced five playoff clubs in 2011, and the improving Carolina Panthers are no picnic either.
How would you like to see the full game tape?
I found this over at Football Outsiders. The NFL is looking to see if there in interest in making the coaches view (All-22) of the games available. I know that I am often less than overwhelmed by the shot that FOX picks....
How do you send a message to someone?
All I wanted to do was to send Bmoyer this link to include in the next prints....
it's brief, but the Panthers were mentions as a top 5...
Panthers Led League in Broken Tackles
In a complete and total shock, the team that had the most broken tackles in 2009 was none other than the Carolina Panthers!
While fans of this oft-forgotten/ignored team are quite used to seeing players running over/through hapless defenders, it is nice to see that Football Outsiders' game charters have come to the same conclusion.
Note that there was often more than one tackle broken on a given play.
Update by Jaxon: Let's go ahead and graphically define the term "STIFF ARM". J-Stew will provide the demonstration. (This never gets old for me)
