BR Tailgate?

I know many of you have season tickets and have your own tailgates going on during the season, i was just wondering if Buffalo Rumblings was going to set up any kind of season opener party or anything like that. I'm down in Dallas partying at the Bills Backers bar but i always fly up for games and love to meet some of you knuckleheads (in a good way) at a big tailgate.  We have some pretty big tailgates when i come back in town and i always love to throw some labatt blues' down with Bills fans.  I'm certainly trying to set up something for the HOF game in august.

Brian I hope you are already on top of this.

Roscoe for Henderson

First off I want to say I don’t want to get rid of Roscoe for a 4th round pick, but if we can trade for a DT, G, or TE to shore up a needed position then I am more than willing to lose a player at a position we actually have good depth at (it’s our only one, maybe CB too). So I am proposing a straight up  trade for John Henderson. They get the best punt returner in the game and a complimentary WR for Tory Holt. Buffalo gets a #2 DT that I think we desperately need, I know a lot of people disagree, but I don’t believe we have anything past Stroud and Williams (Williams is average at best).  This trade doesn’t do much for most of the mock drafts, but I believe the Bills could go OT, OLB, G, or TE with the first four picks, not necessarily  in that order or you still can get one of the top DE prospects and completely solidify your defensive line.  If we can’t get any value for Parrish and only getting a 5th or 6th round pick, the tradeoff doesn’t make sense to me.  Yes you add more picks to your draft, but I’m not a believer that every year we are going to find starters that late in the draft. If he’s parleyed with a pick to get Smith, Curry, or someone else then so be it, but I hope they don’t get nothing for him.  We lose the best punt returner in the game and that’s not worth just a 4th round pick to me.

- this guy just never lets up, he’s relentless. His motor never turns off when the play is going on.- not only can this guy hit, but he’s a ball hawk. He’s the next Ed Reed.- what a physical specimen he is, at 6’5” ,220, with incredible hands this guy is a truly gifted athlete.- this guy has been the captain for two years now, he’s a true team player. He’s going to bring great leadership to a team soon.- This guy is just a football player, he might not be the most athletic guy, but man he can just flat out play.- this guy is a bit undersized to be a starting corner, but with his speed he’s going to be a great nickel or dime back for some team.- This QB has the tools to make in the NFL, he arm strength and accuracy as well as his smarts makes him a top ten player.- aka workout warrior.- this guy loves being in the gym, he’s built like a body builder, a true workout warrior.- this guy is just flat out overrated, he played with the bet DT in front of him for two season.- as in this may be underrated for going to a small school but he's going to be playing like an all-pro player in the NFL.

Peters for Peppers

well it sounds like J.P. is looking for a little too much money and we do not need another hold out this year.  Here's an inlikely proposition, Jason Peters for Julius Peppers straight up.  one of the top Tackles for one of the Top DEs in the game. Peter's is great and it will leave the entire left side missing but we have just solidified our defense and got rid of a player who doesn't want to be here. Does Peppers, probably not, but we all know he wants out of Carolina and hopefully N.E. is bluffing because Buffalo doesnt need him playing for the Pats either. so the second part of this equation is make another move for a starting Guard and draft a Tackle with the first pick.  Right now we have no depth on either line, but putting the deffense first and rebuilding the o-line could work.  Now i know the chances of this happening is roughly 0.00% happening so 1 more option would be trade Peters for at least a 1st rounder.  Philly, Cincy and other need a good tackle, well we need a lot more than that, so again get rid of a guy who doesnt want to be here and draft two players OT, DE or OLB in the first 32 picks.

My opinion Buffalo has done a C- effort this offseason for getting players we needed. Marketing A++++, but false hopes wear off with every loss.  we need starters on both lines and we got 1 out of 4 positions (C,G,DE,DT) not to mention we have 1 backup for offense, that doesnt sound like a smart decision.  Now i back Buffalo and Ralph with their decisions, but i would have loved to see some linemen come in this year if they truely believe T.O. will bring the playoffs back to Buffalo.

like always Go BILLS!!

Speed Kills

Here is an article from last year that's pretty awesome.  It doesnt have anything to do with Buffalo, but's its a great read for football fans. We are waiting for the up coming free agency and draft so I thought it would be a good break from all the predictions and draft talk that has been going on.  I would like to know all the NFL players that actually did this growing up.

Enjoy.
