We're #36 since 1936!
So ESPN's researchers crunched Football rankings and performance since 1936 and Mizzou comes in at #36 all time. Hooray. This is related to a time-killing blogosphere draft of the top 40 teams they are having on Tuesday. Read more about that here.

1st and 2nd Round Announcer Pairings
Well I was hoping for Raftery (Onions!) or Gus Johnson (Pure!), but we'll have to settle for Craig Bolerjack and Dan Wenzel at the home of the fourth meal in Boise. Sigh... See link for the full list of 1st and 2nd Round pairings from Awful Announcing.
I wasn't sure if he'd do it this year, Tony Kornheiser's NCAA bracket is always clahhhhsssiicccc.

ESPN'S College Basketball Prestige Rankings
Mizzou will be somewhere in the top 40 teams, teams #31-40 are revealed on Tuesday. The rankings were based on assigning points to tourney appearances, wins, etc since the 1984-1985 season.
College Football Live is back!
Oh what a great day to not work, as I managed to catch the "season premiere" of College Football Live on ESPN hosted by Brent Musburger, but only for two days which you can read about here. Brent pulled out all the stops with Jim Tressel showing up in studio and a group of Marines delivering the email questions which Brent referred to as "the safest emails ever." Oh and speaking of Brent, it's never to early to brush up on the rules to the Brent Musburger Drinking Game. And if you prefer audio directions, Tony Kornheiser reading the rules to the game is also a fantastic listen.
