Since I am a pretty solid googler and it took me a few minutes to find this stuff, I thought I'd share some key links for info about the Big XII Championship Game.

Saturday Afternoon Schedule from VisitkC.com

2:00 p.m.	Parking lots open, FanFest opens
4:00 p.m.	North Team Pep Rally at Fan Experience
4:30 p.m.	Stadium opens
5:00 p.m.	South Team Pep Rally at Fan Experience
6:30 p.m.	Fan Experience Party Ends
7:00 p.m.	Kickoff

Official "Championship Central" from the Big XII Conference Note that "the Vertical Horizon" will be having a free concert in the Power and Light District on Friday at 8 PM.

Yesterday Awful Announcing reported that ku students and university officials were attempting to get students to stop using their kick off chant of "Rip his expletive deleted head off." The Star has further info on the story and also links to a video Coach Mangino recorded to be played before Saturday's game.

The video is hilarious for the following reasons:

1) Coach M. is clearly focusing very hard on reading the teleprompter and keeps a constant center focus

2) The coach is wearing a black shirt in front of a BLACK BACKGROUND and thus it appears his rather large head is floating.

3) He is subtitled. Now this is probably for the hearing impaired, but I still find it hilarious since he's usually hard to understand.

4) As he says "we have a lot of great traditions here at ku" they show video of the waving of the wheat which is one of the stupidest things EVER.

5) "We're better than that." Um, no you're not...

Be sure to check out the last two weeks... I hope they use the pirate song for Guns Up U. at some point as well... after googling I find that the pirates song is a Veggie Tales song (seriously) covered by Relient K. You can see the same song rocked out by Lego pirates here.
