I realize our mantra in Coltsville is "it's the best, if done properly." But is it? I can't help but envy watching the Steelers manhandle people with the LB's that they have on staff. So here is my cahllenge to the Stampede blue writers.....

How succuessful is the Cover 2 defense? AND I MEAN Super bowls. What sort of defenses have the Super Bowl champs in the past 15 Super Bowls used? Just curious.

How long is this going to continue to be the marketing push of of the Colts? Everywhere I go in Naptown, during football season, I see "Believe" .......I think this dates back from the 1999 season or there-a-bouts. Actually, I recall that it was from Edge's first season when we went 3-13 to 13-3.......Anyway....can we drop that stupid saying? BELIEVE is as old (and as lame) as TOUCHDOWN MONKEY! Drop it already!

I BELIEVE ......we should change it to "EXECUTE." We are no longer a team that needs to "believe" to get into the playoffs......we need to EXECUTE once we get there, or we can continue to enjoy, what is seemingly becoming, the annual BIG BLUE CHOKE.....EXECUTE! We are among the WORLD CLASS org's now (in terms of brand ) , like the Cowboys (hate'm) or Packers (hate'm) we aren't a crap team trying to bring'm back to the home games....THEY ARE ALL SELLOUTS NOW! If a player gets put on IR, does that mean that they can't even hang out with the team anymore? Like Dwight Freeney can't be in the locker room with the team and get fired up and support his teammates from the sidelines? If so, does that suck balls? I mean TEAM SPORT. Someone please advise......

Why doesn't one of the bloggers here call the Polian show tonight and get Polian to go on the record with what the $&*# is going on with special teams?!  I would try myself, but I live on the west coast and it is not possible. Everytime we kick off I grit my teeth, and grab my sack! It is only a matter of time with this team, before someone takes a kickoff deep AGAIN.......Good god! It is Purnell's responsiblility, and I hope there wasn't any truth in that he blamed Hunter the Punter for it. Anybody see that beaut Hunter kicked that went of TJ Rushing's head? Occasionally, I hear inside things about the Colts. There is a terrible, un-confirmed rumor that #88 may retire due to injury. I don't know if anyone else has heard that, but i have heard it from two seperate sources. I pray it's not true, but I think I owe it to our community here, to passing it on. I hope it's b.s., but where there's smoke...........

Don't misinterpret what I wrote. I said a comparison can be drawn (in jest.) I nevermentioned genocide. Good god man, that's irresponsible on your part. I just drew a parallel between one team in their attempt to be "world champions" and anothers. In my next installment, I will draw a parallel between Abe Lincoln and Tony Dungy.......Check it out.......

There was one other team of history that one can draw parallels too. There was anothe rteam who ran up the score, with a "kick'em HARD when they're down" attitude. A team who looked totally invincible as they rolled over every one in their way to a World Championship.

I want to vent a little here. The present crew doing "Monday Night Football" is a disgrace! All they do it talk about New England! You'd think that the millions of other football fans in this country who tuned in, would rather hear about other teams, or league news. But Kornhole just talks about you know who! It is the absolute worst form of subjective journalism. Terrible! Kornhole also dissed Manning (in the pre-game show) as a "pretty boy QB" when a couple weeks ago he was raving about Tom Brady's good looks...It's weird....really weird, but there is no doubt the Baldhead Korn douche is ineffective in his role as football color guy and irresponsible in his role as a journalist.

Secondly, the Patriots are not indomitable! They have a weak running game, the defense is vulnerable to the run, and they have amassed their record against some of the worst teams in football! They are a great team, but we are more than team enough to handle them. I realize that the Pats game doesn't mean much in real football terms, but a Colt's victory ensures that we won't have to hear anymore of these storylines! Please God, let us beat the Pats to shut up the pundits! Nobody can take it anymore.

I also want to say that before my memeberhsip to Stampede Blue I never noticed the ESPN New England sports bias, now I can't ignore it. I can't even watch ESPN anymore! I wish that we could have an alternate sports channel, it seems like the opportunity to get some quick market share is out there you media moguls you......

This is proabably an old topic, but how did Indy get put in the AFC South? Of course Miami should be in the South and the Indy in the East/or North. I live in So. Cal these days and the fact that we are in the AFC South reinforces the belief that Indiana is a Southern state....One gets tired defending the honor of one's homeland, but defend we shall! I think it's a great dis-service the NFL did to us when they reorg'ed the league. I just think it's b.s and I am curious if any other of the Stampeders' feel the same. (And I already know the argument WHY too and that's b.s. as well.......)
