Narveson as 5th Starter
For whatever reason I never bothered to log in during the off-season so I haven't been chatting with all you ladies and gents, but I figure it's time to stop being lazy and start getting excited for a new season.
What really gets me excited though is the idea of not having to worry about Parra and Suppan coming into games and unnecessarily tiring out our bullpen time and time again.
Is there a good reason, contracts aside, not to have Naverson as the 5th starter? Compared to the other two? I read in the mug about scouts having a poor outlook on Soup's stuff nowadays, and Parra... I just don't know, it still seems like he has a lot of things to work out, but why work them out when something important is on the line.
Naverson didn't come in as a shockingly amazing pitcher last season, but is it just the contracts that keep giving Soup shots to start and not guys that may suck less?

Here I Go Again on my Own (to the Ball Game)
Faced with the same decision, I wanted to hear how other fans felt about going to a game without a crowd?
I never have, there's always been someone willing to get some cheap or moderate tickets no matter the teams playing because live sports is live sports. Always like going out to see the local AAA ball and such, or take road trips to see something different.
But, sometimes that's not always possible. I'm sure when I walk into seats behind the away team dugout at PNC park wednesday I'll feel right at home with other Brewcrew fans, but it's certainly something I've never done before.
So even though this is pretty much preaching to the choir in a way as far as "should I/shouldn't i" (and besides, i've made up my mind, I ain't waisting no more time =P), I basically wonder what other fans feel about going to a game solo? Besides "please don't be the drunk guy sitting alone," of course!
